How exactly is increasing testing inflating the data?

Now that is concerning.

I don't buy into the idea that increased testing is the sole reason for increased positives. Is it a factor, sure. But to claim increased testing is the sole reason for higher infection counts is ridiculous.

Obviously masks alone aren't the answer. You realize there are some long term care facilities that are doing very well right? The one I know of doing exceptionally well has implemented PPE guidelines(including masks obviously), social distancing, limiting visitors, weekly testing, and the employees are taking an oath to be responsible. I don't think it would be possible to be an anti-masker and take this oath honestly.

If I were to take a guess, yes. I know most long term care facilities in GF are testing at least weekly. Higher risk units up to twice/week right now.

One side definitely made their stance on masks and social distancing political and it wasn’t from fauci. it was only a few weeks ago the right wingers were touting their rallies where they were intentionally not social distancing or wearing masks.

Absolutely not. I’m doing my part to hopefully help reduce the deaths by wearing a mask. You should ask the buffoons who refuse to wear masks this question.

I think everyone would like to hope that covid is becoming less deadly but we have no solid data to back up that hope yet. If you take a look at the NCHS Mortality Surveillance Data Chart the weekly US death average has dipped below 7,000 deaths per week five weeks ago. But many deaths from the past several weeks have not yet been counted...
