no, i dont...and no offense to the the people that say he signed, but im not going to believe anything until i get an official link...there have been simply too many rumors about when he supposedly signed...some said saturday, sun., last night...or whenever. but i do think its a strong possibility he will sign, and if he does im sure it will be in the next few days.

wouldnt NJ have him come to their camp before signing him?? also, i wouldnt start saying congratulations to something that that is not confirmed yet...

i guess i have to believe that parise is going, but its really only because of anthony grieco coming in. if grieco wasnt getting a full ride i think he would be a replacement of walski...but since grieco is on full ride it makes me believe. how many scholarships do they give out anyway...is it 18 in the wcha?? because i know each conference is different.

if parise actually did or is going to sign pro then why is there not any official news about it... is it possible that it was just a rumor blown out of proportion, only to be fed by the arrival of anthony grieco? im not saying its not going to happen but im still skeptical.

On the toews situation, i believe he will stay. on pk, hes gone i feel. and ej i think will be gone but i would not be surprised if he goes to the M. no new news there i guess... on the spirko situation, i was definitely one who thought before this year that he was going to be a four year player. but this last year, even though he was injured at the beginning, he didnt have the "zip" that he had before, especially after xmas break...which was most likely due to his wanting to be with his bride to be. i dont see how anyone could have really been surprised by his departure, looking at those things. did everyone expect he was going to wait until the end of his sioux career to get married or bring her here?? i was very disappointed when he left though, because he was a very fine player...and its too bad he left but i have to say i dont blame him...in fact i think its very justified. after all he was presented with a contract of sorts for a LIFETIME of tang, not like the other guys who took money, with a HOPE that they would get some tang. and finally, this also makes me think of the zajac situation too...i hate to say this but i really dont think he liked playing here as much as some of the other players. my reasoning is similar to that of the spirko reasoning, zajac in my opinion could have been a runner for hobey this year...he was just a very quiet player...but i think he was the best on the team and very overlooked. dave hakstol even said this on the radio, he said that he felt that zajac wasnt scoring enough goals and hopefully next year he would be a 60 pt man...

I agree. i think that he would be best off with another year of development...and he sounds like he really likes it here and doesnt want to leave until he is ready and even though the players always "say" that, i think this one sounds different because he knows that he will be offered a contract. he has said that in every interview that i have read directly that he likes it here and if he doesnt feel hes ready hes going to stay. there are a lot of players who dont have this privilege like toews or jack johnson perhaps. i get the feeling that many of the players have to hope they will get the offer and then take it right away.

this is an amateur question im sure, but i was wondering when the next "wave" of signings is going to be...my intuition says sometime after the draft. i am asking this because i hope that the rival teams lose their big players too. and if anyone has any opinions on who will sign as well...mine aren't really opinions, more like wishful thinking

what makes you think that parise is good enough for NHL?? hes not drafted...so that makes it hard enough. the only way is if he went some "pro" route other than the nhl. but in my opinion he isnt good enough to play at a higher level... david mckee was a non drafted pro signee, and that is rare, especially for a goalie(except in case because he was the glue that held cornell together) and take all this the wrong way, i think parise is great, but like i said i dont think hes nhl quality so why give up UND for something lesser in competition? the problem is the people on this site that keep looking at the RUMORS too much...here's another rumor for you...oj simpson is innocent and elvis is still alive...how about we start believing those too?? i am just annoyed with all of this, if all the rumors were true we would be losing lee, chorney, parise, toews, oshie... and this would make for nine total and all possible at either nhl or some other pro league(for parise), but highly unlikely...in fact i doubt if UND loses anybody else besides maybe to a transfer.

I suppose if this kid shaved his head, but I really dont think it was him...i guess something else i could have added was that i think hakstol called him anthony(but im not positive!) and i did hear hak ask him "is anyone else on your team getting a full scholarship offer like this?"- this is not verbatim, but the only word in that quote im unsure of is "full". my guess is that with that kind of question he is most likely from a high school team or a not so stacked league team like some ushl/bchl teams...my 2 cents. also, for this time of year it was pretty tan, so maybe is from cali, because it didnt look like he fake baked... then again it could be a "natural" tan, by that i mean he has darker skin.

You stink of jealousy, i havent seen him play, but id say there is a reason why he was being recruited by the top wcha schools. and of course the fact that he will be going second or even...dare i say late first round of the draft.

That will be interesting to see what happens with Forney in the physical, since he has the fractured tibia.

I think its a little early to make guesses on the league next year... there are a lot of players that will leave probably... Earl and elliot(maybe even pavelski but i doubt it), minne could lose kessel, johnson, wheeler(but i think all will stay), DU could lose stastny, CC prolly wont lose anybody(i dont know though), St. Cloud could lose goepfert, UND we all know of(most likely just stafford and smaby) and the other teams i dont think will lose anybody. The biggest in my opinion are the ?? of elliot and goepfert. if either of those leave the team will have lost the reason why they succeeded IMO.
