  1. I wonder what leaving the WCHA (and the resulting schedule) would do to Minnesota's Strength of Schedule component when it comes to Pairwise? If they fill their non-BTHC with cupcakes, they might find themselves woefully deficient.
  2. This is mean and hurtful to hippies.
  3. The unicycle kid has quit donating? IDGI
  4. Wait. MPLS is a she?
  5. My life became much more pleasant when I put you-know-who on "ignore". I wish the rest of you would quit quoting his posts.

  8. Schmaltz has been getting "ink" for a long time: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_dadd...?urn=nhl,102857
  9. I finally understand the whole declining test score thing.
  10. Using the term "issues" is dramatically understating the situation.
  11. Yes; UND will be compliant, as they were a party to the settlement with the NCAA. However, as The Ralph is neither owned nor managed by the University, they were not a part of the deal, and are under no obligation to do anything with the logo until, I'm sure, they are ordered to do so by the copyright owner. Don't conflate two entities.

  22. You know how to tell when you're talking to an extroverted engineer? He's looking at your shoes.
  23. I think her voice is ready to go; she's walking out on stage now, and into the spotlight. Pretty obvious what is going on at Standing Rock: opponents can kill this by simply not showing up for a Council meeting. The lack of a quorum is a pretty shady, but very effective parliamentary maneuver.
  24. Still need to have binding 30-year contracts with both tribes to satisfy the settlement with NCAA. (I think I'm recalling the timeframe correctly.) What are the odds of that?
  25. I think this question is one usually answered by state's attorneys and juries. Oh, and the money to build the presidents' houses was donated by Bill and Jane M - A - R - C - I - L.
