No forecheck and 5 guys on our own blueline. No pressure in D zone and pack the front of the net. that will fill the seats with fans.

i never thought he was ever really a risk. he's still so young, there's no reason to rush his development. I'd like to see him add a little grit to his game next year along with more scoring. next year, this team will need more from the blueline in terms of points. Simpson, Schmaltz, Mattson, LaDue should bring that from the point next season.

You can say last years team overachieved. This year not so much.

I talked to Don Adam at the Final Five and he told me he will be taking about 4 guys from the WCHA to the new league and the rest will all be new to college hockey. I think that's a positive sign. He also said, "You guys will love it, I won't be on the ice anymore."

i agree on the Kobber non-stop but it's gotten to the point of hilarity. I wonder if Hammer showed Kobber the picture on his phone of Dressler potato chip bag. that was a classic last night. favorite this year tho was the Gaarder hat trick. "What do you think they do with all those hats, Kobber...?"

I was there and the refs did everything they could to not call a penalty on either team in the OT's. the last one on JL was so blatant it had to be called. It sucked yes, but it had to be called. it's just too bad they happened to score on it. no sour grapes here, UND gave them everything they had and that was probably the title game. too bad they couldn't have met in the final of the frozen four. i keep thinking back to about a minute before the last PP, JL had a look in the slot and toed it before she released the shot which was partially blocked by the defensemen. the corner was open and JL just about snapped her stick after the play in frustration. i wish she could've had that one back and it might've ended differently.

Both goalies have let some really bad goals in this year. Uneasy feelings.
