I was there as well and thanks for saving me the effort of typing out all my thoughts. UND had Grade-A chances to score 4-5 goals but couldn't bury one. To go far they'll need to change that in a hurry.

Top line was stale last weekend. Rocco and Rowney each had a goal last night which gives team more balance. Kristo and Knight will be fine.

Many teams in the last few years have had magical runs in the postseason without being 1 or 2 most of the year. i.e. UMD. This years team is one of those that could make a run while not being a favorite. they have the talent and heart but do they have the goaltending to go on that run?

Hope the team can build a sizable lead in one of the games this weekend to give Tate a period between the pipes.

yeah, also skating is his biggest weakness.

i noticed first period friday, UND used a different attack into the zone on power play by passing the puck back to D at center ice and having the opposite winger curl behind to hit him in stride with speed into the zone. Blackhawks do this with Kane on the PP often. I think it works when the defense is laying back and stacking the blue line. It seemed Denver made an adjustment and started pressuring the puck carrier out of the zone so didn't see that breakout much after that. It was a nice wrinkle though and switched up the dump to start the power play.
