Bolomboy just picked up his 4th. This will be a good finish.

Weber is up 9 at half vs. Portland St. 46-37. Weber has made 7 three pointers this half. Forte from PSU is having a huge first half. (15 points)

Big Sky Quarters: #4 ISU vs #5 UND (3/10: 4:35 Central)

They don't rotate real well in zone and SUU killed us with guard penetration. -
WOW. ISU with a three at the buzzer to upset MSU.

Some really good games tomorrow. I like our matchup with ISU. Crandall has to play with composure but also with that chip on his shoulder tomorrow vs. Telfair. In the other games I wouldn't be surprised if either UM or Weber got beat. PSU and Sac. St are playing very good basketball right now. The EWU and UI game is a toss up to me. -
You really want to throw stones when it comes to weed Dan? How far back do you want to go? Actually, do you really want to bring up any punishment in regards to off field conduct of football players.

Funny you come here after winning the Summit tournament. Congrats on that by the way. As the Summit sits today, it will always be a one bid league. In order to move past that, SOS needs to improve, schools will have to start directing more finances to basketball and the school will need to keep the schools willing to do that (Denver and Omaha) and add a couple more. When you do that, you lose a couple non conference games. Also, all the schools top to bottom need to get wins vs. top 30 programs non conference and win more than the occasional one game in the tournament. The Summit is in a nice spot but its not close to getting any at large bid. The Big Sky is no different and the bottom teams in the league have a lot more work to do in order to improve the quality of basketball in the league.

After watching the Summit tourney it's pretty clear it's as close to home court as you will get. 80% SDSU fans.

Sac. St with the first upset of the tourney beating MSU by 4. They will be a tough out for Montana. Round 2 shaping up to be very good so far.

Right. Aren't you getting ready for tip off?

It's a fair question. My answer would be that attendance won't fluctuate as much as it did for football. If we are suddenly a .750 basketball team how many more butts are in the seats? I do think Faison understands the there is money to be made and to me has proven he gets "it" based on his past performance. I don't know how taking $1 million out of the budget for next year affects any of this. For the record, unless we beat Idaho St and play a competitive semi final, I think Jones needs to go or at least no extension be given. Way to much talent on this team to be .500.

Lots of blue and red at all sessions. Sioux Falls is a great location for their conference tournament if your a SD or ND school. Looking at the last few years it's hard to argue against the proximity to home and success.

With the match ups set two games in round two, I could see Portland St giving Weber a game. They are playing very good ball right now. After UNDs game today, Telfair of ISU has to be licking his chops. Our guard defense today was terrible.

if by talking point you mean that UND basketball may not have enough money to pay Jones final year of a contract and pay the going rate for a new coach and staff than yeah it's the same old. That is a reality though. No one besides one poster has ever said Jones performance in 10 years has been below average.

Not surprising with two South Dakota teams playing.

Hopefully getting a game in the arena helps come Thursday. We looked like a team that was trying to not waste energy today. -

Yuck. Very poor 1st half -
Come on Darell. The reality is that at the mid-major level money has a role in everything. You've been in Fargo to long if you think money grows on trees.

Shanks with the and one. They should not be able to guard him down low. He has a head on everyone on the court for SUU. -

So far my stream sucks. Buffering and frozen. -
Avants getting the start today.

What if your a team that suffered injuries throughout the course of the season and get healthy at the end of the year? Sac. St. and/or Portland St. could be examples of this.

Any insight to the feeling on campus on what the faculty and students (who pay attention) are leaning towards? I was surprised to talk with a couple different UND faculty that are leaning towards Shirley. Caught me a little off guard but he must have impressed on his visit to campus and the feeling was he would get back to student interaction. I know some of you are involved with the university. What are your thoughts as this process comes to a close?
