  1. Redwings are up 3-1 at the end of one
  2. Toews is also playing for Canada
  3. Flyers are up two to zero on Montreal after one Colorado and Detroit are tied at one halfway through the first EDIT: Detroit scores to take a 2-1 lead with 6:00 left in the 1st
  4. Couldn't you also run a banner along the fence where people stand above the endzones?
  5. Something random I thought of while being cold walking to class.... last season they had a soup lady over by the Olympic rink and she had hot apple cider... that was good! I'd like to see someone else offer hot apple cider since she is gone. But I do like the rotating (by season) option that is served there.
  6. So I know that a ton of us can think of ways to better The Ralph "experience" so I thought it would be cool to start a thread where we can suggest some of them. There's the obvious (yet controversial) things such as letting the students stand, etc... but I wanted to see if anyone else had any cool ideas. So feel free to share them!!! Personally, the thing I'd most like to see is a change in the National Anthem.... There is nothing wrong with the way that it is currently done... it could just be SO much better! Like half the team, all the coaches, and a number of students are Canadian.... why not play O Canada at every home game as well? It would be something that would make us different than all the other schools, and I'm sure it would mean a lot to the Canadians. I'd also like to see the fans get involved and sing along! Hearing the fans sing the anthem sends chills down my spine, I just love it, and think it'd be a great way to start the game. Examples: O Canada - Edmonton Oilers version Star Spangled Banner - Anaheim Ducks version
  7. Here is some more of the Skills Challenge footage: Skills Challenge
  8. I was at the Skills Challenge and this goal was one of the best parts of the night... just thought that I would share it with everyone else. I thought that overall the St Louis skills challenge was more fun than the one in Denver, but that has more to do with there seeming to be more ESPN commercials breaks in Denver. Ehn Shootout Goal
  9. Glad I'm not the only one that thought that... haha! But watching playoff hockey (because it's really the only time I seriously watch non-Sioux NHL hockey) makes me wish that we could sing the anthem at the Ralph as a crowd... that is AWESOME! I haven't heard a great Star Spangled Banner yet... but man... those Canadians sure know how to sing O Canada like they mean it
  10. I believe that Fan Fest in December was meant to replace the fall and spring autograph sessions. We may not like it, but it's probably easier for the team seeing as finals are coming up.
  11. If Brett Hextall is half the fighter and half as entertaining as his father Ron Hextall I'm gonna LOVE him!!! Ron Hextall
  12. Does anyone else really like the VS. commercials for the playoffs? I do! Siren Promo My favorite one is with the spinning goal light and the voice says: "I am victory. I am defeat. I am victory. I am defeat." LOL
  13. I hear that Stroup may have gotten in some trouble and I doubt that he will be at the green/white scrimmage tomorrow....
  14. They're certainly trying for you!!! Devils down 3-4 at the end of two...
  15. Not a very optimistic article about the Peoria Rivermen (St Louis Blues) however, props to Chris Porter: Rivermen Have Questions, Few Answers
  16. I found this on the Oiler's message board in regards to Chorney's injury Chorney Injury Update
  17. updated! Thanks for all the research!!! Hopefully we can get another series/game.... I'd prefer to not have the last week off, but I guess we aren't having a WCHA game (maybe WI). Oct can't come soon enough
  18. I was thinking... depending upon where I end up after graduation that I wanted to go to either Mankato or Tech, but since those two dates are so far apart, perhaps I could just go to both of them. Assuming the FAA hasn't called me up yet...

  20. I updated the schedule to include those.... I know it's been previously mentioned, but I can't seem to find it (I didn't look too hard)... who are the other teams in the Ice Breaker... BC, BU... ?
