Minny first goal; Clark steals bad pass at Omaha's blue line resulting in Gofer goal. Minny second goal, Omaha turns it over behind their own net and pass out front to Gopher forward who chips it in. Minny third goal; Omaha blows a tire at their own dot resulting in turnover and gwg. Omaha plays a cleaner game last night and they would have been the one moving on; although you can't blame the kid catching an edge/blowing a tire on that last turnover.

Seemed like all of Minny's goals were a result of a bad Mav turnover in their own zone. Welcome to big boy hockey!

Size of the rink doesn’t really matter…nobody goes to neutral site regionals at 2 in the afternoon on a Thursday.

So neutral site at 1 in the afternoon on a Thursday equals poor attendance…who knew?

That place use to be buzzing with Sioux fans back in the day. There was the year UND played DU in the WCHA quarterfinals and it went to game 3. Let's just say the staff at Senser's was not expecting the horde of Sioux fans on a Sunday night. Wooger and some of his Gofer players showed up as well to watch North Dakota win. It got a little loud when UND scored the game winning goal.

Forgot about this...Sioux-Gofer 2004 at the Ralph...during second intermission they cut to the crowd and you see some high school boys wrestling in the stands...yup, it's Osh! Sioux win 4-2.

That was some good stuff right there. Made me think of a couple plays...blowing up Rick Nash twice...totally leveling a kid from CC who thought he had the angle on him...and a backhander he roofed against BC in the Frozen Four semifinals.
