It was just unfortunate his stick broke but it happens. Simply was curious if he skated off or picked up a new stick on the fly to try get back into the play. Yes, in hindsight he probably should have just tried to slow down one of the DU guys on the rush.

I thought our effort was much better than Friday; unfortunately we end up with the same result. DU’s forecheck was noticeable throughout; they even had good pressure on UND when they were on the PK. Howdy Doody for DU is a hell of a coach.
