    The arena in Vegas holds roughly 7700...too bad they didn't have it at Excel or Target Field. (although an outdoor venue game would need to be played a little later in the year)

    I don't care about the coaches shows, I just want to be able to see the games! Midco is great if you are local, but the rest of us are relegated to watching webcasts of varying quality or listening to internet radio. This has greatly impacted our teams' national exposure, especially the men's hockey team whose home games were almost always available on the Fox College Sports channels. Love watching in HD but will take it any way I can get it.

    Hey, instead of boring old Nodaks, how about spicing things up a bit? Add a couple more letters and Nodaks becomes NORDAKOTS! (nor-da-kots). It sure as hell is better than Fighting Hawks.

    So you have people selling votes and others using the votes of disinterested friends/relatives...I'm real excited for the outcome of a flawed process that a majority of stakeholders refuse to take the time to choose one of 3 decidedly bad nicknames. Should be real representative of this entire clusterf***.

    Talked to a former UND grad today, good friend, and I asked him who he was voting for this time around...He said, "i'm not going to play their game so screw'em"....whatever name eventually wins is definitely tainted by the fact that simply 'North Dakota' was left off the ballot. This whole process has divided us and that is sad...
