  1. That's gotta be a mistake right? Shouldn't they be down 2 more lines?
  2. Spring Break at Kalamazoo...will the Lawson Lunatics be down in numbers then?
  3. With the amount of viewers this game gets, even Netflix could handle the volume.
  4. Probably a replay of a non-conference, Division III game that they still wouldn't cut away from.
  5. That's a brutal matchup at this time of the season.
  6. Quite the witty exchange.
  7. Watched section final between Shakopee and Holy Family tonight at a packed Braemar arena. Cooper Simpson for Shakopee had a goal and probably could have had an assist or two but his teammmates didn't convert. He was the best player on the ice tonight; not afraid to go into the tough areas looking for pucks. The Sabres won 4-0 so you will be able to see Simpson in the MN state tourney next week. Looks like a good get for Brad and the Sioux.
  8. Be careful...I heard the fans there are CRAZY.
  9. Stats based on the above isn't really about bad luck then...it's a team that wasn't getting the job done all year.
  10. What was UND's bad luck two years ago? Losing in the Frozen Faceoff again?
  11. That's because it was Golden Boy Buium that did it...Perunovich for UMD use to get away with all kinds of crap like that.
  12. Yeah, only getting a couple power plays a game isn't a recipe for success.
  13. Landon, age 15, is currently the 5th highest scoring d-man in the WHL. (Everett Silvertips)
  14. Sorry if this has been posted already but Schlossman of the Heraldo put this in today's paper...thought it was pretty funny. UND radio analyst Darrin Looker dropped the phrase of the night in regards to the major power play, where UND scored three times in the five minutes. Because major power plays don't expire after a goal, they're sometimes referred to as "all-you-can-eat power plays." Looker said Minnesota Duluth gave UND an all-you-can-eat, "and UND showed up in sweatpants."
  15. Nolan DuPont of the Calgary Canucks? (Alberta Jr Hockey League)
  16. Is that a reliable source? What are they saying at Judy’s?
  17. He’s 19 and plays for Portland Winterhawks. Hockeydb classifies him as a defensive forward and grinder. (Their word, not mine) Also found this: Though Zakreski flashes exciting skill at times, his impact is most consistent in pursuit. He’s a hard-working forechecker capable of leveraging his physicality into quick offence in the slot. The motor stays running on the backcheck and inside the defensive zone. -EliteProspects 2024 NHL Draft Guide
  18. Sioux apparently looking at a big defenseman out of Mile 40 Saskatchewan...Gilmore something I think.
  19. Yuck. I remember Sioux playing Michigan Tech last home series one year and then playing them again a week later in the quarterfinals (at home). Was sick of playing those goons by the end.
  20. That's embarassing if the teams were that even during the regular season. Having not seen the game though, it's tough to complain about the reffing.
  21. Croal has to have a regular shift from here on out...the guy works too hard to sit or only use as an extra skater.
  22. UND gonna shut him down next weekend...or at least do better than they did last time. Just remember, you can't sweep if you don't win on Friday.
  23. Maybe the Clowns super-goalie Posch can steal one from the Pios...and yeah, let's keep that freshman line out there more, love the energy they bring.
  24. At some point it will be in a tie or one goal game and EJ will take the retaliatory penalty and end up costing UND a power play or put them down a man. Like you said, just skate away and get ready for your next shift.
