yay! Miami earns 1 more league point tonight!

Thought UND was gonna get hosed at the end; figured a perfect ending for this game was Jake's goal gets wiped out and Western gets a penalty shot which of course they would convert. BUT, they found a way to win. Did Sioux play a full 60? Not sure, as it was difficult to sustain much offensive pressure and seemed like the boys were constantly scrambling in our own zone. Four SOG in the first period is not awesome, yet they were only down one at intermission. One thing I noticed tonight toward the end of the game is that UND had guys in there on power plays and key moments that absolutely are no threat to score. Goddammit, shorten the bench and get #9 on the ice as much as possible. Double and triple shift this guy; he can handle it. And what happened to our Freshman Super Line? Those guys hunt pucks hard.

Irrelevant at this point...need to win conference tourney to get in.

Anybody else notice Puggsley Adams hanging out by the Sioux Penalty Box? Wondering if he would say the same things and offer the same finger gestures if he was standing out in the concourse and our guys walked by.
