  1. Jaclyn Jarnot was 2A first team all-state this past season. She averaged 17.8 pts and 11.7 rebounds while playing all five positions for her team. She is the all-time leading scorer and rebounder at Maranatha. Alaina was a sophomore at Monmouth. She started about half their games but only averaged 3.2 pts in about 20 minutes per game. She sure may blossom at UND but did not shoot well this last year. FG % - under 30%, made only 16 of 69 3's and shot only 47% on FTs.
  2. More so than in the past, it appears we are going head-to-head with other FCS programs for some really talented kids. The latest: LB Luke Wertz, 6'2", 230, 4.8, Batavia (Batavia), IL Has offers from IN St, SIU, UNI, NDSU, E KY, Ball St & Cornell LB Luke Dwyer, 6'2", 200, 4.8, Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich), IL Has offers from W IL, NDSU, SIU, IN St & E KY
  3. Another offer: OT Joe Michalski, 6'4", 270, Overland Park (St. Thomas Aquinas), KS Has offers from Cornell, Dartmouth, Tx St, WY & Yale
  4. Goldman has verballed to UNI.
  5. This is great info - thanks for posting. A couple of quick observations: IMO - it certainly reinforces that a correct decision was made regarding women's hockey. It reinforces that it is a great advantage for schools (including NDSU) whose fundraising efforts exceed the cost of all athletic scholarships. In our case, student aid totaled $5.3M while donations totaled $3.9M. We could do a lot with an extra $1M plus each year. I understand that these numbers do not reflect the current situation as it includes the sports that were discontinued. It would be great to see how we compare to NDSU and the two SD schools. Where did you find this? Were other schools available?
  6. The Bison have offered Hull.
  7. Two more: Charles Coleman, 6'2“, 200, Oswego (Oswego), IL Diamond Evans, 5'9“, 175, LaGrange Park (Nazareth Academy), IL
  8. You are right - I will correct!
  9. Bubba and staff have been busy - going head-to-head with other MVC teams on a lot of these kids. New offers: WR/P Matthew Wedig, 6'4", 210, 4.8, Beloit (Memorial), WI Luke Reimer, 6'2", 210, Lincoln (Nroth Star), NE Has offers from USD & SDSU LB Tom Brunner, 6'4", 215, Milwaukee (Whitefish Bay), WI DE Caden Johnson, 6'3", 240, Wahoo (Bishop Newmann), NE Has offers from UNI, USD & SDSU DE Christopher Reames, 6'7", 215, Van Meter (Van Meter), IA Has offers from NDSU, SDSU, USD, UNI & SF Austin WR Larry Williams, 6'1", 195, St. Louis (Cristian Bothers), MO Has offer from Ball St PK Matthew Jaeger, 6'1", 180, Plymouth (Robbinsdale), MN Has offer from Drake DT Coty Lemon, 6'3", 285, Dallas Center (Dallas Center), IA DE Nick Dejong, 6'6", 250, Pella (Pella), IA Has offers from USD & UNI
  10. Based on this year, next season will likely be a big struggle WITH Geno!
  11. Another offer: Ath Keenan Garber, 6’, 175, 4.4, Lawrence (Free State), KS
  12. I am curious as well. I would guess we have some concern about Leach's ability to step in as our PK next year. It is also a little concerning that Jaeger hadn't been picked up by another team during one of the signing periods.
  13. Did you see what Jones did on the bench - apparently it wasn’t cool!!
  14. Pluto came back - we sure coulda/shoulda won that one!!!!
  15. Can’t get Pluto to cooperate today so I appreciate the updates!
  16. Fenske will attend Iowa.
  17. I have to agree with you. I have thought Brew was a pretty good coach (other than concerns about a lack of basic fundamentals over the years) but this team has reasonably good (not great) talent. There is no way we should have only 5 BSC wins and lose to teams like Sac St at home.
  18. Two more: OG Kyle Hergel, 6'2", 320, 5.7, Burlington (Clarkson North), ON OT Grant Trieber, 6'7", 275, Sioux Falls (Lincoln), SD Has offers from USD & SDSU
  19. I would say he needs 3-4 new players next year or it will be another ugly season!!
  20. While stats never tell the full story, it might be a little early to get too excited about this kid. He played about half the time for Phoenix College with 9 TDS vs 5 INTs but completed less than 50% of his passes.
  21. Are we sure he has committed? It appears he may have just been offered.
  22. Another: DE DeVonne Harris, 6'4",220, 4.9, Big Lake (Big Lake), MN Has offer from WY
  23. New offer: OT Jacob Golden, 6'6“, 265, Peoria (Peoria), AZ
