I hope I have enough posts under my belt by now that everyone can believe I'm an a$$hole
-
#1, why drag me into this ? #2 most of what I say about phil is for my own entertainment, however, just look at what's happened to him, those in the know in the hockey community are starting to see the real phil.
-
What exactly are those guys doing in that picture ?
-
Typical arrogant goopher fan post. Can anyone really blame me for being a jerk to these guys. I guess maybe you were too drunk to remember how things really went, please seek treament for your alcohol abuse, as well as your skitzoid-dillusion fantasies.
-
I have to admit, Chucko is kind of a mystery. He was a hard-noised gritty guy in the BCHL, it seems he never really got going in college. Maybe his style just didn't fit with donnie's.
-
Then my question to you, or any other goophie fan who spews their crap here is this. What are you doing on SiouxSports.com ? Are we still the obsessed ones ?
-
I bet the Panzer brothers never dreamed of playing for the Sioux, how about Andy Schneider, Nick Fuher, and many others. Just let EJ go to the pros before you guys ruin his career, like some other golden boy whose golden luster seems to have been smudged off. Please don't ruin another quality player.
-
Hey, whatever, it's your story tell it how you like.
-
Put it into a real life perspective. Let's see, I just graduated high school, and I could get a college scholarship, but someone offers me 3 million dollars to do a job that I always wanted to do and will eventually end up doing. I take the money and go, or someone else will, get it ?
-
Why not ? I'd say right now that Johnny T. is as much of a flight risk as anyone else. If he were to go #1, it would be hard to imagine him staying.
-
It's just not fair, "the greatest US born hockey player ever"(phil) could never have lived up to the hype, it's not his fault. Someone watch the bridges and tall buildings, we don't want slappy and bucky base jumping without parachutes because of these developments. I'm also agree that EJ may never wear the m if he goes #1, it doesn't matter what his "dreams" are. If a team takes a kid #1 it is because they are in desperate need, usually they are not looking to waste their investment for a year elsewhere.
-
I don't know, why don't you ask bucky.
-
Good for you, you are a model citizen. I could care less where my credibility lies, I know what I know, it doesn't matter who believes it. But just so I can prove you wrong once again let me give you an example. phil= heartless, gutless, one move, overrated, probably peaked already player. Eric Johnson= stud, who will probably never wear the m. See oozing with objectivity.
-
Yeah no respect for the goophies. Someone cue Danny Irmen "this team didn't deserve this" sniff, sniff, here come the tears.
-
You're the only one besides slappy that seems to have a problem with Sioux fans being biased on a Sioux message board, it speaks volumes for your ability to understand simple things.
-
Yeah, let me clarify, my bad, I forgot about all the "non-Sioux Fans" milling around out there. I don't make it a practice slamming "Sioux players/recruits". All others' are fair game. Once again I have to make special allowances for bucky, the rest of the people here knew exactly what I meant. But thank you for dotting the I's and crossing the T's, it shows your keen eye for detail bucky, I'm mildly impressed. It would also appear that bucky is some kind of hockey "talent evaluating" expert as well, THAT'S A REAL GOOD ONE. Say, buck, I just have to know, when phil doesn't go #1 in the draft, are they going to have to bring in some kind of crisis management expert to talk you and slappy down off a bridge ? You guys will have to take saint phil's poster off of your walls and put up your David Hasselhoff "Baywatch" poster's again
-
I've said time and again, I'm not a hockey talent expert. I'm a fan. Part of being a fan is supporting your team. I may be notorious for blasting poster's on this board, but I try to refrain from blasting a player. You see, it takes a lot of talent, sacrifice, dedication, hard work, and other intagibles to reach the level of skill that these guys have. I refuse to criticize a player that hasn't even had a chance to put on his skates and a Sioux jersey. Hell, I would consider being recruited by a hockey power like UND an achievement in and of itself. If you want to slam someone, slam me, I enjoy it. If you want to establish credibility with the rest of the good posters here you might want to take a different approach. Opinions are fine, just be careful how it is done, especially when it is in regards to players. Aside from all of this, I'm feeling rather melancholy this morning, you are probably an OK guy, just a little misguided, and I don't really want to argue with you.
-
atlsioux-phony, er I mean fan, you try to be an antagonist, but you are no where in my league. Please leave it to us pro's.
-
......and for the record, would you mind listing for all of us your credentials for analyzing hockey talent ? I for one would really like to know.
-
I don't see where I mentioned any names. It seems that everyone jumps right to conclusions, perhaps there is something to all of this, hmmmmmmmm.
-
How could someone who was a "lock" for the #1 overall pick just a few shorts months ago, fall to a top 3 or maybe even top 5 pick ? Maybe in both cases those in the know in the world of hockey have discovered the truth.
-
TJ never held a press conference to announce it, so I could see how it would throw you guys off. (goophie fans, that is).
-
The Triouxper has a "Crystal" Ball, it is the well-spring from which all my information flows.
-
You can also check out my new cookbook entitled "101 Ways To Make Crow Taste Delicious". PM for a copy. Go ahead, hammer away, I'm ready for it. Seriously, thank you for the great season TJ, here's hoping for a couple more before you are wearing the "Big Blue Note" on your chest. (And maybe a national titlle or two before you go.)

However, if in fact his family is in "financial trouble", (which by the way is no business of ours'), then it would be a noble cause for which he was going.
