Honestly, I never expect anyone to believe anything that is posted. As far as JPar and his possible departure are concerned, it is just what "they" say. And we all know about "they".

I don't see Toews and Oshie on the same line either, as they are clearly the two best centers on the team. Just my 2 cents worth.

Dude, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, you claim to be a college student, but your posts are very hard to follow at times. Secondly, you seem to be a little naive as to how the world works. Please, don't take this the wrong way it's just constructive criticism. Thirdly, you almost seem a little jealous that someone might know something that you do not, therefore you get upset. I'm just trying to help you out here, so please, please don't get pissed at me. OK ?

Just for the record, I have to agree with bucky once again. Now, having to admit to that for the second time in a week, I'm going to clean myself off. I'm starting to get that icky feeling once again.

I've said it before. The goal for these guy's is the National Hockey League. Unfortunately, UND is a stepping stone for them. That does not mean they don't care about the program, the town, the fans, ect. Most of them are very proud to pull on the Sioux jersey, and they come here because of the tradition, and to develop in the program, but when the time comes for them to go, they HAVE to go. I refuse to begrudge anyone from persuing their lifelong ambition. Enjoy them while they are here, because we are fortunate to have some of them, even if it is only for two years (like Zach, Zajac, ect., ect., the list is too long to post). If we have TJ and Toews here one more year, you will see what kind of special players these guys really are. I say just enjoy what we have while we have them, and wish those moving on the best of luck.

Keep one thing in mind here folks. You come to this sight of your own free-will. If you do not want to participate in the discussion, then don't, it's that simple. Many people come here to see what is happening with Sioux Hockey, unfortunately early departures are part of the program. You can be mad and deny all you want, but many times when there is heresay, or rumor, or specualtion, they happen to come true. I don't like the fact that we lose all these players early either, but I don't get pissed when it happens. If you dont want to here this stuff just stay away, that's the best advice I can give you cause it is not going to stop. At least not until october when the team takes the ice once again.

But one thing you must understand is this, people that may have "inside information", and pass it along here do not care to reveal where they have heard it. That is why they are privy to that info, because they don't let on to where it's coming from. I believe someone has mentioned this before. As for myself, there is no secret fountain, or mystycal type telepathy stuff. My info comes from the Crystal Ball that I have. As far as next year goes, I would expect Oshie and Toews(maybe?) to still be here, anything after that would be a miracle for sure.

Ooh, ooh, let me finish this one. You mean Oshie/Toews vs. kessel/wheeler, a year ago people may have thought the scales would be tipped in favor of the brown and yellow. Now, I'm not quite so sure

Agreed, I look for Oshie and Toews to be dominant, Watkins, Kozek, Duncan will all have stellar sophmore year's. Defensively, Big Joe will fill Smaby's role, and Lee, Jones, and Chorney will all be very solid. Throw in some veteran leadership from Kaip, and Radke, and some outstanding freshmen coming in, and I think we will be just fine.

I'm pretty sure sure that I said yesterday that all the laughter would soon turn to tears. When Sparky and JPar are gone we can break out the tissues again.

Relationships need to be established and built regardless of which tribe it is. This situation affects all Native Americans as a whole as far as I'm concerened. It's either good for all or not good for all. That's why granting an exemption to fla. st. and not granting for IL, and ND is so ridiculous.
