Those stats sound about right, PCM. I think he is a lefty though, hmmm, maybe he is the "mirror image" of TJ. That would certainly be something. He's definitely got some size, should be fun to watch him the next couple of years. And yes, Diggler Taylor has an Ojibwe name, but I'm going to let you research that one yourself.
-
Can't wait to see Taylor suit up for the Warrior's. Maybe he has some of that same "Oshie magic" as his older bro. Time will tell, best of luck to you Taylor.

Dude, I was just poking a little fun at Wheeler is all, that's why I put the laughing face there. I also went on to say that I like Wheeler, hell last year at the World Junior's I thought it was a shame he rode the pine so much and said so right here on SS. Just having a little fun is all, nothing serious.
-
How about you give me a case of Budweiser to take that thing off your hands, (and properly dispose of it). K.
-
Actually, I don't mind Wheeler at all and wish him all the best. I agree, let the boy's lace them up and see what happens, as I've said many times before. Last year at this time people on this very board were skeptical of the decision to bring in Oshie. Some comments I remember were "he needs a year in the USHL", "he'll be lucky to crack the lineup and see limited ice time", ect. ect. Funny what a difference a year makes, and how quickly we all forget lessons learned. We just never know how these things shake out, until the season starts. Speculation is always fun and things often look good on paper but sometimes reality is quite different.
-
I'm not discounting Vandy's ability, I'm just saying Miller is not going to lay down and say "go ahead take a spot in the lineup away from me". It will be a dog fight for all spots, and I think Miller will suprise a few this year. As far as draft position being indicative of how a particular recruit's season is going to be, I got two words for ya "Blake Wheeler"
-
I would be a little more hesitant about selling ANYONE short. You never know who is going to pan out or not. Miller may have only played 15 games last year, but that's 15 more NCAA, WCHA, D1 hockey games than Vandy or Bishop. Aside from that I saw Miller not to long ago, and he's definitely been in the weight room.
-
One thing to keep in mind here is that Miller was coming off of shoulder surgery last summer. I'm sure that it limited his time in the weight room and maybe put him a little behind some of the other incoming freshmen last year. Although Miller did get knocked around some, I did see signs of good things to come from him. I think he has tremendous hands, and he does not let his size prohibit him from playing the game, he went to the net with the puck as hard as I had seen anyone else last year. Given the opportunity, I think he will come around just fine.
-
It's the truth, won't disclose the source, but I'm sure we won't see Alexander this year.
-
I don't know if it's objective or not, but I did watch the BIGGEST UPSET IN THE HISTORY OF NCAA HOCKEY at the Ralph this last spring. I suppose you and bucky don't count that game though and feel as if you should get a "do-over".
-
Yeah, he's very much like a weasel from what I can tell.
-
Sioux-Habit, normally I agree with most everything you say concerning the goophs and their fans. However as the owner of a Rottweiller I'm offended that you would associate such a majestic and powerful animal like that with bucky. He's more of the varmint variety, low on the food chain and such.
-
Hey Siouxman, I believe the quote was something like this... "this team deserves better than this". It came from none other than the one and only danny irmen as he was shedding tears over the loss outside the locker room after the Holy Cross embarassment. Like I said before, a fitting end to his career, especially after all the antics he pulled at the Ralph over the last 3 years.
-
It's not the fact that we finished 3rd out of 5 teams that people were excited about, but rather who we played in that game. But then again we are not your biggest rival, that would be wisco. Hmmmmmm, let's see didn't you play them in the 3rd place game this last year, and what were the results. Sorry there is just no excuse for a team not being able to get pumped up to play their biggest rival(s). It doesn't matter what's on the line. It just shows lack of heart, passion, determination, ect. ect. If donny can't get his team excited about playing wisco or the Sioux, I'd certainly say that is an indication of other problems.

Had TJ been born about a week later he would have been in this year's draft instead of last year's, and phil would have been knocked out of the top five pick's.
-
I have posed this same question about phil's drop in NHL rankings several times to both bucky and slappy, and have yet to receive an answer. The only reason they don't answer the question is because then they would have to admit the truth about phil. The cat's out of the bag boys, all you have to do is read any of the articles referenced right here on this web sight to know the truth about USA Hockey's "golden turd".
-
Bull$hit, he did not deserve the award, and was not the best freshman in the country last year, and I don't give a rat's a$$ how many points he scored bucky.
-
I find it hard to argue with anything sagard has stated in this post.
-
The point is the battle cry of minny for years is that titles are won at the end of the year. Quit trying to twist this $hit around. We are talking about your coach's weak-ass attempt to try justify losses when everyone knows damn well these were games they should have won.
-
The way the goophie fans keep popping up here and defending their precious yellow and brown, we may have to start referring to them as "CRUSADERS"
-
I hate to break you little bubble fella's, but no GOOD coach will ever tell you a game is meaningless, especially not at the end of the year. Aren't you goophie fans always saying that titles are won in March and April not in October/November ? It seems to me that two losses in the Final Five don't do a hell of a lot for a team, it's just the wrong time of the year for the wheels to come off.
-
I've heard he's coming back also. But in this case I'm actually going to wait until I see #9 on the ice before I believe it.
-
Yeah, cause everytime one of their elite teams suffered an embarassing loss the only excuse they could come up with was "it's a meaningless game".
-
Yeah, I've ramped up my training efforts as well. I don't think I put enough into last season. I made it a priority to consume as much beer, chicken wings and queso as is humanly possible so I'm prepared for tailgaiting and other events. I hope I don't dissapoint myself.
-
Oops, I see i woke the sleeping giant, sorry. Good to hear from you bro, how's things.
