This post is way longer than it should be. But I'll close with one question: The Fighting Sioux have recruited world-class skaters for years. The program's history, the coaching staff, The Ralph all have a great deal to do with that success. But why oh why can this team not recruit a world-class, shut down goalie?

I'm going to keep acting like I'm 13. Some of the players you chose to single out as not being superstar's have accomplished a whole lot in life. Lee, #9 overall pick 05 NHL daft, 3 time World Jr. selection, Mr. Hockey, on scholarship at UND. Greene, World Juniors, UND (captain junior year), great NHL rookie season. Commie, NCAA National Championship, STANLEY CUP. I bet these guys really don't care what the hell you think of them. I'm sure your greatest accomplishment came the day you learned to wipe your own butt.

OK, do you get paid to scout/evaluate hockey talent? If not, then you and lives need to shut you pie holes and quit bashing world class athletes. It's as simple as that.

Canada is going to whip our ass again this year. As usual, the US loads it's team full of "superstar's" and Canada will pick the best player's to make up a "team". USA Hockey is nothing but a joke. I hope Team USA proves me wrong, but after the debacle the last two year's I have little faith.

I can't believe I'm about to say this but here goes. bucky and slappy are like 1000 times cooler than lives-to-play, and way more credible as well. Man you got some kind of chip on your shoulder. It's easy to be a fan of the so called "superstar's", but ask any one of them and they will tell you without the rest of the guy's on the team doing what they do they wouldn't be "superstar's." There are alot of role players at all level's of all sport's that don't ever reach "superstar" status, but go out and play every shift, every game, and just do what they have to do.

Yeah, unfortunately is doesn't have the dazzling brilliance of a post like "I didn't see Greene play at all in the playoff's last year" but hey, I'm trying.
