Must be a slow news week, it's been a tough hockey season for Brad too. Even he can't keep pulling out the pom-poms to defend how UND has played this year.

Would Hak era teams been as consistently good as they were each year if there were one or two national championships won?

Each weekend, I keep hoping UND will figure it out and like every weekend, I end up disappointed.

Yep. Blown opportunity. Not surprising. Also, Berry, maybe pull Cam when UND was in the offensive zone applying heavy pressure when Jost, Boeser were out there instead of waiting.

Schlossman/GFH didn't write anything about UND going to Summit/MVFC until it was for sure done deal. So if anything is going on behind the scenes, might guess is Brad won't write anything unless it's a slam dunk. Edit: Ninja'd by @GFG

Definitely true in past BTHC seasons but Minnesota for example, has played zero games on Thursday this year. The game(s) they did play on Sunday this year, were away games that were out of conference.

Friendship Four Tournament in Belfast. That'd be cool if UND got invited to it. I believe Michigan Tech hockey did a tour of sorts in Europe a couple years back too. Playing German and Austrian hockey teams.

I'm amused by people who post here smugly saying "should've just been a Champions Club member." Once again, if everyone did just that, there would've been different rules to how tickets would've been dispersed and people would STILL lose out.

Considering the opponent is a bigger draw than BC and traveling to Las Vegas is cheaper especially flight-wise from North Dakota. I'd say so.

That and prognosticating the three BTHC teams that will allegedly make the tournament will do better than UMD and Denver is just asinine. Only Minnesota has shown that they seem to be for real. Getting to watch Penn State again this weekend, have no doubt now how overrated they are. I only see Minnesota making possible noise in tournament. Penn State might depending on who they'll have to play. BTHC: 1: Minnesota 2-5: Mediocre teams 6: Michigan State
