Sidearm Sports response to my email about Apple TV app not working:
-
Definitely weird seeing Tychonick in a opposing team uniform...
-
Having same issue on Apple TV. Getting "Not Found Live Streaming" message. Had to use computer as well.
-
I can’t see why they wouldn’t hold the tournament in some shape/form. If anything I doubt it’ll be a 16-team tournament, back to 12? Single location for regionals/championship? Im really curious what the selection process will be. Will the polls actually matter or is it all going to be decided in a smoke-filled backroom?

College hockey 2020-2021 viewing thread

Question for those who have the league pass and had subscription auto renewed: I received two emails at same time. First email was a transaction receipt saying I was charged $109.95 which my CC reflects. Second email says the NCHC Friends and Family sale renewal is $101.95? There was no tax. Just wondering if others got these emails with different pricing. Unless Sidearm is taking $8 for themselves each transaction. I do miss Nuelion. Feels like took a step backwards with Sidearm. @KSSiouxI have an Apple TV 4K, live games were excellent. Had no issue*. *I do have the Apple TV hard wired and I have Midco Gig internet. -

Looks good on paper but Wisconsin and Boston University have shown success isn’t a sure thing even when you’re loaded with high end players. -

We have a sechedule. Honestly, not looking forward to seeing UND play Omaha 8 times. Correction: 6** times -
I think everything that needed to be said has been said. Anything now is rehashing and piling on. @UNDBIZ @The Sicatoka @brianvf Please feel free to close the thread.
-
Yep, adios and good riddance for UND to be out of the situation now. What the sister has been posting just cements the fact that Mitchell and his entire family haven’t learned a $&@#ing thing. Bye.
-
Do you think his lack of reporting is/was because he’s way too close to UND? I mean I understand UND is the hand that essentially feeds him but it’s the GFH that signs his paychecks. Also, if he is too close to the hockey program, assign someone else to cover the story.
-
Yep, huge yikes. Very clear they're part of the problem.

Police report on the Mitchell Miller bullying incident that involved the urine soaked sucker: https://www.reddit.com/gallery/jkzbj0 It's 4 pages.
-
I'm guessing Miller has the opportunity to go play in the major juniors or different league but I'm wondering, do you think if he opts to remain as a student at UND, that maybe UND will leave a path for him to possibly rejoin the hockey team somewhere down the road?
-
Coyotes doing a great job on showing how much of a dumpster fire organization they are. Wowza. Go from defending to reverse course in very little time. UND made their bed/decision to stand by Miller. I hope they don't do an about face like the Arizona.
-
@GoonHope you feel better soon! It’s great to have Brad but enjoy what you post as well.
-
It has been peculiar all round because even @Goon hasn’t written anything about it.
-
Mitchell Miller had weeks, months, and years to contact the victim to see if he could personally apologize. The onus was on Mitchell. By all accounts he made zero attempt to do so.
-
I believe in giving second chances but based on everything that has been reported and his "apology" doesn't come off as genuine when he never personally apologized to the victim. If he honestly still thinks the court-mandated apology letter is enough then he still hasn't grown at all and I am conflicted on whether or not he deserves that second chance. UND, Mitchell, and @schlossmangfh terribly mishandled this. Instead of being reactive and waiting for this whole thing to blow up they could've been proactive. If they would've got ahead of this and Mitchell actually apologized to the victim that would've at least shown that he was trying to improve himself and be a better person. Everything being said now doesn't come off as genuine at all.
-
Yes, you absolutely can. Especially if you were the victim. Many kids who are on the receiving end of being bullied will live with that trauma for the rest of their lives. I feel like many of the people here have never experienced being bullied. Mitchell Miller never personally apologized to the kid or family. He was forced by the court to at least write an apology letter. He could’ve and should’ve done more. If he wanted to actually show that he wanted to be a better human he would’ve gotten ahead of this before it became mainstream by personally apologizing to the kid. Everything being said or done now is just trying to mitigate the fallout.
-
Right? Honestly, I hold Brad up to such high esteem but he really !@#$ed up as well on sitting on this story. Gotta make sure to throw in those token statements at the end to make sure UND brass don't get mad at him for having to actually write about it.

The link to the article no longer works but luckily there is the internet archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20160630165121/http://www.toledoblade.com:80/Courts/2016/04/26/Judge-slams-pair-s-role-in-bullying-case.html

Agreed. It looks terrible optics-wise that UND and @schlossmangfh have ignored it. It's a dramatic difference on something like what Bochenski did vs what Miller did. It might've not made a difference if they addressed it head on but I'd say it is certainly better than not addressing it all. Brad actually tweeted about it finally. Looks like @AlphaMikeFoxtrot was right.
