So, I saw this in CHN and I'm just kind of confused... Why does Omaha feel like we give two shits about them?

Exactly! Omaha players and fans consider it a rivalry. To me and many UND fans I know, Omaha is another opponent on the conference schedule. It can definitely turn into a rivalry once Omaha starts winning trophies and upsets UND in important games. I use to not think of Duluth as a rival but those !@#$ers have crept up in the rivalry rankings cause of their success and beating UND in big games.

  2. UND has never been Minnesota, BU, BC, or Michigan when it came to blue chippaz on the roster. I know there are exceptions such as 05-06 but I do feel though that there has been more of a downward trend in terms of having elite players on the roster. Seem to be lucky if we even have one or two chippaz. It’s nice having players like Gaber but he needs to be surrounded by equal or better talent. He can’t do it all, same for Sanderson.

I have defended this team while everyone else ridiculed me because I felt they worked hard and deserved a chance.  In return they quit trying and folded.  I have just had it.

I’ve tried not to be pessimistic but this team is making it hard not to be. Honestly even with some of the Saturday night bounce backs, hard to forget the Friday night chokes when many of them have been downright ugly.

And we were 16th before the ASU losses, so things are still very fluid.

Exactly! Thank you for bringing some levity. UND has plenty of opportunities to right the ship, just like Cornell has. I’ll be following the Cornell-QU games.
