  1. A person on hfboards posted in prospect thread for Mitchell Miller that he’s in the NCAA transfer portal.

If true, I wonder if there’s any realistic chance any school will give an offer. If a school does, I hope their PR department does a better job than UND. Which shouldn’t be that hard. Just have to be proactive.

As long as the CHL player doesn't sign a contract with any professional league, they should be able to move to the NCAA and vice versa. A non-signed player shouldn't be punished because the CHL allows a NHL-signed player to play in their league.

UND has had many SSM kids (much like Morrow) who jumped straight from SSM to college and didn't miss a beat. A few that come to mind are Zach Parise, Jonathan Toews and Drew Stafford.

All forwards. Mistakes by a forward can be more forgiving vs a mistake made by a defenseman. Considering Berry was a defenseman prior to coaching, I trust his decision on the matter. But yes, still sucks that Morrow decided to go elsewhere. C’est la vie.

He's shown he's not mature enough. It really is as simple as that. He didn't fit our culture.

I guess I thought it was because the coaches didn’t think he was NCAA-ready. Morrow seems to have only played 10 or so USHL games. Majority has been prep hockey.

I know there are instances of players jumping straight to NCAA from prep hockey but there are also examples of players struggling with the transition.

    No takers on this one?
Someone figuring it out would highlight my and their day.
Believe it or not, the answer is the original post if you figure out how to see it.

Emphasis on highlight. I use my phone 90% of the time to visit SiouxSports. I happened to visit on my work computer during a break. :)

True, I’m just saying that we were forced to the limit by a good St. Cloud team, so to suggest UND would have won is easy to just say.  As we have seen, beating anybody when you get to tournament time isn’t a given because there are so many variables.

Gotcha. I see what you’re saying now. No argument from me then. :)

We were also lucky to get both the Denver and Duluth games to OT.

That is the refrain of losers. We were lucky to come back against St. Cloud at home, so it is easy to just say we would have beat such and such.

Saying it was just luck discredits how good and talented this years UND team was. This team never gave up and when UND started doing it multiple times this season, it’s more of a trend/pattern that would suggest it wasn’t luck.

He's solid you just never know when kids jump conferences. Jandric is a name tied to us a bit. He put up great numbers in Fairbanks however last year in Denver was fairly avg. I'm assuming he was a PP guy in Fairbanks and not in Denver.

Chris Jandric did not play anywhere in 20-21 season. You are thinking of his brother, Steven, who transferred to Denver.

i am just like Katie I keefe and ask the TOUGH QUESTIONS

@gfhockeyYou are a worm that implies he should be fired. You are worse than the people who explicitly say fire Berry. Just simple truths for you.
