So I just read on Twitter our celebration was premature? How do you screw that up

UND clinched a share but Denver has a chance of getting a share if they sweep CC and UND gets zero points tomorrow. So tomorrow is to win outright and for the top seed in conference playoffs! Go SiouxHawks!

They are both pretty safe as far as Pairwise goes with SCSU having a 99.8% chance to make the tournament and UMD at 92%.

UMD would probably have a pairwise high enough to get in the tournament but need to make sure they keep their overall record at .500 or higher.

IF SCSU sweeps in Duluth this weekend then UMD would have to win their playoff series to be even considered for the NCAA tournament. Even losing a series 2-1 would eliminate them. Basically, UMD needs to win at least one game this weekend or win their playoff series.

SCSU at Duluth is going to be a series to pay attention to with home ice for the NCHC quarterfinals on the line. Especially when they'll most likely be playing each other again. SCSU is much more successful playing on their Olympic-sized rink vs NHL-sized.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A Western Michigan University hockey captain could face time in prison for allegedly raping a student in December of 2021. This isn’t the first time he’s been accused of sexual assault.

For the first time, the mother of another alleged victim is coming forward and sharing her story.

Joi Labadie, of Kalamazoo, spoke exclusively with News 8 on Saturday afternoon. She said her daughter was sexually assaulted by Paul Washe and two other WMU hockey players at a party in August of 2017. She was 18 at the time and played soccer for the university.

All I can say is yikes, WMU. Just awful. Someone mentioned earlier that maybe Andy Murray retired for reasons more than what was explained, definite possibility with this coming to light.

This is what completely baffles me, people go ballistic every year and say we have no talent, then go overboard the other way when we are on a winning streak.  We have the same talent we had earlier this year, in fact with injuries, even less, but now we are going to be world beaters?

    UND fandom in a nutshell.

I don’t know if anyone saw this or not.

UMD fans are seeing a slew foot. I had one fan send me a DM on Twitter.

I remember it and definitely thought “uh oh” but the ref was right there and didn’t call anything. I’d like to give benefit of the doubt but wasn’t it Jandric that speared a St. Cloud player right after the player scored a goal? ???

Lot of dog fans all over the 4-1 PP discrepancy.  Like Sig used to say, Duluth is a big time "marble theory" team.  When the marbles are heavy towards one side they expect powerplays in return and therefore ended up in an NCAA diving video.

UND didn't give the officials many opportunities to call penalties last night, and count me in the shocked boat that you didn't see a swan dive late.

Honestly, it was impressive how disciplined UND played yesterday. Could it be a sign of turning the page? I hope they can do it again tonight cause we’ve all seen how off the rails the team can get when they lose composure and take stupid penalties. Duluth will be trying to sell everything tonight.

Apparently not as the DU play by play guy even mentioned that as a possible rule change that they should consider.

Interesting! I'm guessing it hasn't happened very often but definitely should be included as a circumstance to call a delay of game penalty.
