I agree with PCM and airmail, Why not provide some safety equipment, locks and locking cases for owners of guns that live in apartments on campus. I do have some concerns of having firearms in dorms. You can't even legally burn a candle in dorm room. But there should be some compromise if a student is a hunter and wants to have their rifle available to them when they want to go hunting without having to leave campus. First its a monopoly on what kind of pop they sell on campus, then its a campus wide ban on tobacco use. Pretty soon it will be something else. This pisses me off and I live 300 miles away. (but I am a current student)

I didn't think they went on sale to the general public until Dec. I got my order form over the weekend too. I am glad to see the tickets didn't go up this year.

For those of you that aren't that familiar with the twin cities, the bridge was 35W both directions (north and south) near minneapolis. There was a Twins game about to start and reports say that traffic was bumper to bumper, the bridge collapsed from end to end around 6pm. I am hoping and praying that my friends and coworkers were not involved and praying for all those that were.

So has anyone gone to check these out in person? Sounds like it might be a good way to get my hockey fix over the summer.

Well theoretically...he could return to UND in the fall and complete the season with the Fighting Sioux and when we win #8 he will immediately sign with Chicago and finish the NHL season with them? That would make Murray's statement true and keep Toews at UND for another year.

Well, according to the blackhawks player tracker they say June 1 for Porter. If you check it out there is a pretty nice photo of Toews and story about him playing in the World Championships in Moscow later this month. But I thought I had heard somewhere it was 60 days after leaving school, but I don't know where I saw that.

The Blackhawks site reports Chris Porter needs to be signed by June 1. But I haven't heard anything if they are signing him, I think he becomes a free agent 60 days after he leaves school if the Blackhawks don't sign him. Is this correct? Anyone hear anything new on signings?
