Maybe the two Alaska Schools will spearhead a conference with all the Canadian schools. It would get the flight out there gone from the WCHA and CCHA. Money Saved.

It was approved last week to allow Canadian Schools into the NCAA. There were a total of six schools wanting in (all wanting to play hockey). Four have publicly said they want to and two haven't, my guess of the other two is below. What are your feelings? The schools are: (1) St. Clair College (2) University of British Columbia (3) Univeristy of Alberta (4) Simon Fraser University (5) University of Manitoba (maybe) (6) Univeristy of Saskatchewan (maybe)

The reason that they are going to be building that "Tower" on the east side of Columbia is for a future parking ramp to be put on that side which will encompass half of that lot that is currently there. It would be used for students and faculty during the week and for events at the REA on the weekends.

Being a student senator myself; it was not mentioned at senate on sunday....all was mentioned that he has resigned because he left school and in turn the university apartments senator position is open. If anyone would like to read this "letter" he sent to all of student goverment private message me.

I do not believe that UND will ever go to DI-A for two reasons (1) there is not enough support in a state with a population that is shrinking and (2) I don't think that the students will support the added burden of student fees which are about to become outrageous.....This begs the question that many students have een asking...Is this move to DI-AA for the sports only or is it a mix between academics and sports???

Its official as of 11AM Monday the 74 students that got tickets on sunday will recieve their tickets with a 3 dollar refund. There will be approx. 360 senior tickets left for next sundays distribution. Please pass the word to everyone you know. Also there will be no 3 dollar charge to any other students!!! The DS will be making a special edition paper on wednesday about the distribution since the papers for tommorrow have already been printed...

I've noticed that everyone blames UND for the problem but the truth is that it is students like yourself, that come up with some sort of fix that is defiantly only a bandage not a permenant solution....finally this year nate and nate have come up with a better bandage that will hopefully close the scar that was ripped open when we were not allowed to camp anymore. AND for teh record I wish we could still camp out for tickets...it showed people what fans we are of fighting sioux hockey!!!

Every single one of you has been talking smack all day about the ticket distribution system AND I only saw 6 people at the senate meeting....Maybe you should all quit your bickering and actually do something about it...only 6 people did!!! You're all a bunch of whinners and want everything to happen perfectly. SOMETIMES it doesn't work out the way it was planned to!!! So deal with it and wait till next sunday...

When I had a season ticket last year...it was my buddies...they swiped my ID and did not say a word about it. They would only care when the lower bowl student section was assigned seating now that its open seating it does not matter. Hope that helps...

First off I would like to say that I am orginally from Illinois and ever since I was born I was an Illini fan, it what everyone is in Illinois. I seen the guy in the costume run around at basketball games and found nothing wrong with it. Since coming here to UND i was amazed that there was no "official" mascot to speak of, and that the university, itself, does not condone it only athletics (thats what I've been told). Itotally pledge all my support to what Cupcake is doing with the situation. Lets go to court a sue the living day lights out of the NCAA!!!! One last thing i was interviewed by WDAZ about it...but i was not put on the air....they got too many comments that the Sioux logo is a bad thing. GO SIOUX KICK SOME NCAA ASS!!!!!!!!

Students pay less because they are the STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA not some random person that lives in Grand Forks and pays money for season tickets/single game tickets!!!

Geez Fetch way to act mature. You say that the students are immature...well look at the way your acting. "This is my seat and I'm not giving." Grow up and act your age. Those seats in the Ralph aren't yours, (ie your name is not engraved in the seat), you mearly pay for them. And to my understanding the REA has been looking for the last 2 years at reseating and the public has been acting the way you are and thats not fair. But I guess it all comes down to money and the REA likes that. So all in all ACT YOUR AGE NOT YOUR SHOE SIZE AND GROW UP!!!
