I'm so sorry that you cannot take my post as an idea to the problem....maybe its not the students fault....maybe its the unrelenting putdowns that the students recieve at the REA and on this forum. Students are here to support their teams but you will not allow them to because of your own personal agenda which is to make the students not be allowed to cheer for THEIR team. Rant over!!!

Maybe if the student sections where in a better place in the arena where students would like to sit (i.e. the LOWER BOWL) there wouldn't be as much hatred between the students and the rest of the REA. This is the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux not the City of Grand Forks Fighting Sioux let the students cheer on THEIR team. If they want a more lively atmosphere at the REA maybe they should put students where they could be right in the thick of the action and make the Ralph sound like the old one did!!! From an anonymous student dissatisfied about the treatment of the students in the REA.

As well as Teeder was at the Senate I am a student on that senate (with voting rights) and was there so if you have any other questions I'll try to answer them the best that i can. I will say though that the students who are voting members on the senate voted with a very large no as the Herald stated in its article.

Yes as a student here at UND I do...I think that the FIGHTING SIOUX name is great honor for the state of North Dakota and the people that live in this state.

I was at the game and was expecting a much closer game than what happened since I have been at the other blowouts UND has done. I do believe though that the interception within the first six seconds gave a MAJOR blow to the SCSU game plan and also that the Sioux we feeding off of the students and that it was Homecoming. But other than that both teams were really good and I do believe that UND will be seeing the Huskies in the post season.

I know I have not been posting a lot but I have been reading a lot of these posts and I would like to say two things, (1) GK you need to listen to what people are actually saying and not listening to what you want to hear, and (2) Yttrium your posts are very good I agree completely with what you are saying...congrats!!!

Considering what happened in the off season coming to this year with losing big name players I didn't think we were really going to go anywhere. AS the season progressed it did not look good at all but when playoffs came the Sioux seemed to become a family and worked together to acheive a common goal......play in the NATIONAL TITLE game and by god they played their butts off and got there. I cannot wait to see what is going to be instore for next year. Hope Hakstol remembers what he did in the touneys and brings it to next season for the Sioux. I'm predicting good times for the Sioux in 2005-2006. FIGHT ON SIOUX!!!!
