Yeah . . . maybe it's not that great having the FSSN broadcasts on the NHL network . . . AA scores on a turnover . . . 3-0
-
Another nice PK - let's get a goal . . .
-
Sioux back on PK . . .

Leinweiber scores for AA.

Nice PK for the Sioux

I'm a Sioux fan first, Bemidji fan second. However, I do think BSU would/will be a good fit in the WCHA. It's two hours to Grand Forks, 2.5 to St Cloud and Duluth, four hours to Mpls and five to Mankato and six or so to Madison/Houghton. Not too bad traveling. I think the short travel will also create good regional rivalries as well. BSU has built a solid program, considering the lack of solid conference and arena which brought/brings uncertainty for recruiting. Now, at least, the arena is settled and we'll see what happens conference-wise.

Was that our first garbage goal of the year?

CC PP. VV holding.

Sioux on PP. Had nice chance.

Let's see how our PK holds up now.

Just an FYI, Bemidji again approved the BREC. There was a mayoral race and two city council positions contested. If the opponents got the majority, they would have ceased funding for the project development, thus haulting the project. Luckily, the three candidates in favor of the BREC won and the project will (again) move forward. Newspaper article Now it gets interesting with the CHA/WCHA . . .

Those of us out of the WDAZ media empire still get the games via FSSN, correct?

Another pheasant hunter here . . . Duncan for Friday and, IF I MAKE IT, VV for Saturday.

I agree . . . uhhhh . . . 100% . . . uhhhh . . . time for . . . uhhhh . . . Chilly to . . . . ummmmm . . . go and get . . . uhhh a decent QB. Twins are on TBS at 6:30. Drop the puck!

So . . . does the Bisons come out with an early 2-0 lead this year?
-
My 7yr old and I had a great time. I guess there were about 300 kids. Big lines, but fun.

I grew up in Grafton and used to see the Sioux play at Memorial and the Bison play at Dakota Field. I'd like to get back and take my son to some Sioux games - and (hides and runs) a Bison game. Are there generally good seats available for both Sioux and Bison via their box offices - or are there better tickets available though fan websites like SS? Thanks! Looking forward to some football, again.

Two quick items, all my opinion: 1) If anyone wants to sell their season tickets in the lower level, between the blue lines, I'll take them off your hands 2) I went to Target over lunch today with my head hung low. There was a boy in a shopping cart with his mom, he was bald and had some stitches on his head. He was wearing a Sioux jersey and was smiling and laughing. I spoke to his mom and said I was a Sioux fan too. We shared pleasantries and then the boy said "I hope to be able to watch them next year. They're my favorite team." I tried not to blubber and it put things back into perspective.

So if BC wins, does it help us in the Pairwise? With the way the playoffs have gone it wouldn't surprise me if ND wins, while I expect BC to win 7-2. I'm not a BC fan at all, and won't be cheering for them and I really don't want to see ND grow in hockey either. Tough call.

What a dumb thing to say. Lammy won many, many games for us throughout the season. He's a great kid who has went above and beyond the call of duty on and off the ice. Grow up . . . Thanks for a fun ride boys. Best of luck for the seniors and those moving on. For those coming back next year, let's lace 'em up and go Sioux!
-
Oh, come on, he said "we'll see!"

While I'm disappointed in the results tonight, and I feel sad for all of the Sioux fans in Denver, there's no way you get rid of the coaching staff. They're one of the best out there.

I heard a saying that fits this team and the seniors . . . the team took us to the mountain, and while we didn't get to the peak, we got to enjoy the view above the clouds. Thanks to the seniors and best of luck to those moving on. For those coming back, lick your wounds and then it's time to look ahead to October.
