Just for fun, because we all know how much they love the Sioux, we decided to count 1) digs against UND, 2) positive mentions for UND, 3) digs again UMD and 4) positive mentions for UMD, during the broadcast last night. 4) positive mentions for UMD = 24 (not counting Stalock = 8) 3) negative mentions against UMD = 5 2) positives mentions for UND = 5 (all via Woog) 1) drum roll . . . negative mentions against UND = 19

WOW. What a difference in attendance/atmosphere between the WCHA vs the CCHA or ECAC tourneys . . . nobody watching ND vs NMU in Detroit.

So, who's everyone cheering for, DU or WI? WI obviously has more to play for - but that hasn't stopped them in the past and DU is hurt. I understand both teams winning and losing impact the Sioux and the WCHA(?).

I agree. At least the UND/NDSU bill wouldn't crush four D1 hockey programs. There hasn't been a hearing on this and I hope there will never be one. I mean I already hate Gopher hockey . . .
