Question...if SCSU loses to Wisconsis...and the unlikely scenario that Wisc and CCSU play for the WCHA championship..is there an automatic bid into the NCAA tourney for the winner? and if so, does that make UND the odd man out?

So is that the end of the season....or how far will they drop in the pair wise?

Last nights game is one to forget. The Sioux were outplayed, and won, but the pendulum swings in both directions as there were a few games this year that the Sioux have played very well, but lost. I'm sure we will see a much better effort tonight. After slashing Knight 3X, and then throwing a couple of jabs at Kristo AND on top of that, evidently going after one of the linesman. Personally, I'd be surprised if the WCHA doesn't suspend him for 1 game, but then again, not much surprises me anymore with the WCHA.

Thought they played well in the 1st. Surprised w/ just the 5 shots, but the controlled the puck for the most point. Strong 2nd period is all we need

The puck went by 3sioux players w/ kristo having the best chance to clear it...but it looked like they just sat and watched the puck...lazy.

It does answer the question...just not to your liking. I'm only pointing out what everyone else also has observed...is that the defense is playing very un-Sioux like compared to what we have seen in the past. By your own addmition, you also agree that it could take 4months" or longer for the team to play good defense"......because in the past our teams were defined by excellent defense and taking the fight to the other team....not playing on your heels for 3 periods

Without Eades this year...definately something missing this year amongst the coaching as the defense has been very painful to watch
