The only way the sioux are going to be placed into the West regional (minneapolis), is if they take the #1 position. This means they have to take the WCHA trophy this weekend. This will leap frog them ahead of Denver in the Pairwise and national polls. Right now, Denver is the top seed, but if the sioux take are able to take care of business this weekend, then they control where they end up. (midwest is in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and will most likely have notre dame as the top seed there) In the past, they have placed the Sioux in the North East Regional, and will most likely have to play a Boston University team to get to the final 4. So this weekends' games are HUGE

They maybe in last place...but Tech always plays the Sioux close. There just a tough team to play against for us. We may win the series, but they might jsut sneak a game from us...and force it to 3 games.

As i dont have a direct connection with NASA's super duper high speed internet access....which I guess is required to watch the games over the internet form the sioux webcast....does anyone know how to take on a lower bandwith speed connection? I have a DSLS line, but with the internet the video just keeps feezing...and all you really get is audio. Thanks

Well....not exactly the game you want to take into a playoff weekend....but perhaps Hak let these guys party a bit too much last night. Either way, nice to have a game off?

According to the website, the game will not be televised...just audio. http://www.uwbadgers.com/audio_video/ Strange that Fox Sports is not going to carry the game, as they usually do. So for us out of state sioux fans....only the audio broadcast will be up.

CC is a really good team. The series could have gone either way, and the Sioux were just good enough to get the 3 points. Congrats! Hard to believe that CC could end 7th or 8th after this coming weekend's games...As I would hate to be that 3rd place team having to take on CC in the first round of the tourney. But your right, as it was a good tester series to get amped up for the game in Wisc..
