I was born and raised in Chicago and love going back to visit. We're spending Friday downtown and likely will be going to the BlackHawks/Oilers game>>wearing our Sioux gear and cheering for Greene and Bochenski. Yeah, I know they're on different teams. Last time I was at the United Center (or as it's called, the house that Michael built), I drove and didn't have a problem with parking but admit that was about 7/8 yrs ago. We're staying at the Hampton Inn by the airport.

A message was left on my machine letting me know that I didn't get tickets BUT she hoped I would get to see the games on television. Glad I bit the bullet and bought my tickets yesterday.

Notice, our logo is NOT on all the items. I formally request that Sioux fans do NOT buy any of the NCAA items unless they have the Sioux (Indian head) logo on them. I didn't see any at the Regionals.

Hak is a great guy! I told him in Mpls that there were some folk (and you know who you are) that felt he wasn't the right choice to replace Dean but I was thrilled that he has proven them wrong! Then he drank a shot of tequila with us.

I've decided that I am not going to be one of the annointed ones that will get tickets from the Alum fund. I'm going to sell my soul to StubHub and get the five tickets I need from there. We're gonna drive to Mpls and fly from there to Milwaukee. Haven't got a room yet. But, what the heck, there have to be park benches in a city as big as Milwaukee. This is the year and I ain't gonna miss it!!!

Once I get my official reject notice from the Alumni Office, I'm gonna make other arrangements to go. I may have fly NW or United and sell my soul to the scalpers but by jimminy, I'm getting my a$$ to the Frozen Four.

I believe Holy Cross' goal made me darn happy, happier than the St. Cloud State goal and I thought that goal was special!! This one surpassed it!
