  1. Two words>>> Robbie Bina.
  2. Picked mine up from YaneA tonight! SWEET!!! They even threw in a media guide for this past year. Great profiles on the team and their program. Man, I can't wait to wear mine at the FF next year. Shoot, maybe I'll just have to go to a game in their barn when their not playing the Sioux and wear it earlier than the FF. (I can only wear Sioux gear when we're playing.) Better yet, I'll get my son's GF to wear it next semester, she's working on her doctorate and teaches a couple of classes (she's 100% a Sioux fan)!!
  3. Jim, thanks for all the work you do to keep this site up and running. I can only imagine the headaches it must give you. As members, we only suffer a little withdrawal from not getting our fix but you have to fix the problems. Again thanks.
  4. Reading my post again makes me the idiot!
  5. You know someone's gonna get sucked in and buy it. Geeze. Last year someone was selling some weird football jerseys as authentic UND football jerseys. I emailed the guy and told him he was either scammed into buying it or he's trying to scam someone else by selling it because there was nothing authentic about the jersey. Later I saw he was selling more.
  6. Good for him!! If he's got half the heart and talent that Robbie has, he's gonna have a great ride! i look forward to watching his progress.
  7. As an avid Fighting Sioux fan, we all know that you're not. Just a little confused much like the rest of us.
  8. Did you notice they don't have two game series and they have games scheduled during the week?! Dartmouth plays Holy Cross Jan. 16, 2007, which is a Tuesday.
  9. If there are any tickets left, after high contributing season ticket holder get first change at 'em, they will go on sale about a week before the game. The athletic department box office number is 701 7774689. But if I were you, I'd call when the season starts. When the season ticket holders (big contributors) tickets (maybe it's with the bill) are sent out, they have the opportunity to request tickets to away games. Lowerer contirbuting season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders have to wait to see what is left over. It's my understanding that we don't get tickets for every away game. I was thinking of going to the Dartmouth game and then visiting Holy Cross. Any idea what the distance between them is?
  10. I beg to differ. Many if not all these boys grew up knowing UND Hockey as one of the number one programs in the country. And for many, the Sioux program was the one they wanted to belong to. Why? Because of the tradition, the outstanding coaching, the success, etc. I have no doubt that they watched the Sioux play on cable via tape or in person. Many of our former players have son's playing here. It's no coincidence that the players we are able to recruit are from the 'A' list. And what you do not know is that our boys come into the program with 'their deep appreciation for the tradition that is SIOUX HOCKEY'. They don't have to play here four years, as much as we want them to, to develop a love of our program. For instance, Eddie Belfour played ONE YEAR as a Fighting Sioux. I defy anyone to find a bigger Sioux hockey fan than he is. He brought the friggin' Stanley Cup home to us to share in his victory. Last year at the Frozen Four he signed hundreds of autographs and would not stop until every one in line got one, even when a big shot Alum tried t pull him away. Don't come on this board and tell me that players coming in to the program have never seen the Sioux skate, don't know about our tradition and only appreciate the program when they have stayed four years. I know better. Of course they come here with the goal of the NHL, that's been their life long dream. Staying one year or four years, they give all they've got to the program and if they leave early, God speed, good luck and damn aren't we lucky to have the roster we have! And if a player doesn't want to play for the UND Fighting Sioux because the bars close at 12:30, let him play for the Gophers. Their goal is not to be recruited by a program in a big town, to party all night, it's to play in the best program in the country, learn from outstanding coaches and senior players, and to develop into the type of player that catches the eye of the NHL. That's not gonna happen in a bar at 2AM.
  11. I'm a fan of neither team but want th Devils to win so there will be one more game. Can you imagine what a game that will be!!!
  12. Yeah, it was great to see his physicality! A little something he learned as a Fighting Sioux hockey player.
  13. His art is primitive in that it is reminescent of paintings created by Native Americans of old. I really like it. It's sad to hear that this talented man was taken way too soon.
  14. Slightly damp with Gopher tears? http://web.nccray.com/tkessler/undumn.htm
  15. I accept full responsibilty for my account being hacked into. I used a password that was easy for a person with evil intent, no social conscious, and who was just a big old meanie to guess and after getting into my account, perpetrate all kinds of mischief pretending to be me. Mea culpa! Mea culpa! (Psst, HockeyMom, it was the Navajo language. ) Happy Mother's Day to all Moms!! And everyone, call your mom and tell her you love her and appreciate everything about her and all she's done for you in addition to being your mom.
  16. Your back!!!!! All is right with the world. I can go to bed now.
  17. Oh my gawd!! What a first period!!! The Devils are HOT, HOT, HOT!! I loved ZPar's smile after his little push and shove with Commodore. Reminds me of Mikie Prpich!! I think ZPar may have picked up that play from Prp.
  18. http://www.mayoclinic.org/carlsen-twins/ Mayo's link to updates on the girls.
  19. Beautiful image! I see an American soldier displaying courage, dignity and honor as a warrior fighting for his country today as he did yesterday. (I'm glad GrahamKracker can't respond to this as he would mange to defile the artist and image in his own dispicable way.)
