Someone reporting on HFboards.com that Zajac has signed with the Devils, will play 3 games in Albany, and be on the roster for the playoffs. Apparently he's leaving for New Jersey tomorrow. It was from a message board, so the source may not be right. But still, let's cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Mike, thank you for being one of the best character players these eyes have ever witnessed. You were the best penalty killer on the team the last few years. You gave everything you had every shift. You were never afraid to sacrifice your body for the betterment of the team. That's the true definition of a team player. You and the rest of the guys were an absolute pleasure to watch this year. Thanks again.

He proved himself to be an ELITE scorer at the NCAA level, and let's hope he can continue that with the Flyers and make HUGE contributions to them. He's from North Dakota, you just have to cheer for him now. They mentioned earlier on OLN that Potulny is the 14th rookie the Flyers have played this season. Nice to see they give the young guns a shot.

Hate to agree with a Gopher fan, but that's pretty true. . Mike didn't have near the skill game that Danny did. But I think Mike was a better penalty killer and got under the opponents skin better. The more skilled player had to be Irmen though. Even though I hate the guy.

What I don't understand is that "Sioux" and "Irish" are/were both groups of people or ethnicities. But I guess since our logo is a very respectful very beautiful drawing done by a Native American artist, it's hostile and abusive. Their logo is a charicature of a leprachaun, and in my opinion mocks the irish ethnicity much more then our logo mocks sioux(and in my opinion, the logo is very respectful). This guy needs to get real here.

That is a dumb blog. Since when are we scratching our heads? I think Hakstol is one of the best coaches in the country, and his staff is amazing.

I don't think any of us said they choked and underachieved just because they didn't win a National Title. They choked and underachieved because they lost to St. Cloud, Wisconsin(that one isn't bad at all considering they are national champions), and then HOLY CROSS! 3 games in a row at the end of the year is choking. If you are a 2 team against a 15 team, and you lose, you choked. I don't know how else you can put it. As far as in the Frozen Four, I don't think it's possible to choke. Every team there is good and it's usually a toss-up.

Just out of curiousity, I have a question for you Specifics. Are you on team North Dakota or have friends that are by chance? I have no idea, it's just that you seem to know a lot about them, and it would be nice if you could provide updates on how they do every weekend. Thanks.

The sioux play the early game at 3 PM ET. Wisconsin and Maine play the late game at I believe 8 PM ET. Either way the Sioux are in the early game FOR SURE 100%.

Your right, that was definetely a "lucky" goal, I won't even try to deny that because that's 100% right. I just want to add one thing to that though. I just think that a person creates their own luck. Luck doesn't just come out of nowhere, you have to do something, and then you have to get lucky while doing it. Holy Cross came in on a 3 on 2, created a chance, and got lucky. Props to them for that.

Haha Finley on a breakaway would be hilarious. Just a tower moving in one on one. On another note, my pick for first goal will be Prpich on a breakaway. He will be flying down the ice, let the puck go by the hashmarks, skate towards the goalie, and cup check the $hit out of Schneider, but since we didnt touch the puck, the delayed penalty won't get called and it goes in. He would then get up, and take 4 large swigs out of schneiders watter bottle, and then skate to the penalty box with a huge smile on his face.

Also notice how Cory Schneider mentioned that Zajac is one of the most dangerous forwards he's ever faced.

He wouldn't say anything about that, because right now he does not have a care for the NHL. All his cares are/should be about is the upcoming game against B.C. No way is he thinking about the NHL at a time like this.
