Why the neutral name if you aren't in some way affiliated with the league? Has your team become that big an embarassment for you?

As many of you may recall from seeing me at Sioux visits to CC and DU, I lived and worked in Colorado Springs for quite a few years (NORAD) before moving back to Canada. I got to know quite a few individuals who were closely connected to the Tigers and over a few pops they mentioned that The Don had left a very poisoned atmosphere in their hockey team's dressing room and that he had destroyed the hockey careers of a few kids, especially their goaltenders. When I mentioned these details on this forum about six years ago I got jumped on by all of the Gopher faithful who post on here. In their opinion I was total scum for even suggesting that their Hockey God "The Don" might be playing harmful mind games with the kids. Well Gopher fans how do you feel about your coach this fine morning. He inherited and coached a decent team that was left behind by poor old Wooger but will leave you with nothing even remotely resembling a team. I hope all you hockey know-it-alls at UMTC have a nice summer.

Did you even watch the game? The flurry that Frattin led halfway through the second period was a statement regardless of the WCHA opponent. I would have expected such a comment from a bitter Gopher fan but I guess the disease has now spread statewide?

Speaking of guys who don't show up in big games, I would have traded Kessel for a bag of pucks.

Not all of the webcast problems have been resolved. It is pretty clear that it lags behind the actual feed and every so often it jumps ahead to catch up and we all miss part of the action. I hope the site Techies can sort these problems out before the playoffs.

The speculationand rumours are pretty sickening to read. Perhaps Kristo's frostbite could have been treated in GF, so have any of you ever thought of the possibly that the Montreal Canadiens team offered up the services of a good city specialist to ensure a speedy and successful recovery. Let's wait for the rest of the story and in the meantime nothing but good wishes to Danny, "Get Well Soon Kid".

Speaking of your school's traditions, by any chance do you sing soprano in the school choir, the one that is famous for it's rum, buggery and the lash?

Apparently Blais gave Campion an earful at the end of the game. Hopefully the intimidation of incompetent WCHA officials doesn't translate into a bunch of phantom calls against the Sioux tonight but it won't surprise me one bit.

Malone finished his check and delievered a hockey hit, and I'll bet Pro scouts like the way he plays the game. Are you saying he must now hold back and play a softer game. If so, do you think he make the right choice coming to the WCHA to further his hockey career.

Well the WCHA front office always likes to show how low it can go so why not a supsension for a perfectly legal hit. Malone plays hockey like a pro but clearly there is no room for his type in the WCHA. Some of you like to debate the losses to Major Juniors, but decisions such as this don't help the league's cause.

Why are some of you suggesting that Malone might be suspended. NHL Analysts and even the recepient have declared the hit as being completely legal within current hockey rules. A suspension would strongly indicate that the WCHA membership must press for a leadership change.

During the second intermission of last nights TSN broadcast the analyst panel which included Craig MacTavish, Bobby Clark and Bob MacKenzie called Malones hit a legal hockey hit within the current rules. They showed the hit along with recent NHL hits and stated that only a rule change would completely eliminate those type of hits. Case closed.

Did Kristo skip out on the training over the summer or did he get dinged up? He looks like a mere shell of his former self.
