  1. Those are the 2 best plays of the year in the CFL? Would either of those plays have cracked the top 10 plays of yesterday in the NFL?

No this is just the preliminary round so Dressler needs to win to advance.

  2. If anything, maybe I have lost my touch at trolling for trolls as I only managed to hook a couple of small fry that aren't even worth keeping. Oh well I guess I will have to go a little deeper to land some of the big old lunkers, if they are still lurking around. Perhaps all those years of peroxide and hairspray finally did some of them in.

  3. There is one plain and simple truth, that this is all about the Don's desire to avoid GF. The Goofs media and fanbase has called for his head every time a sure bet season unravels against UND. Losses to BC will be more easily forgiven, for the next several years.

I for one will miss the big blast of air that used to come whistling out of their over-inflated fanbase following a weekend against the Sioux. The excuses always made for some of the most interesting hockey reading I have ever seen.

  4. Some of Minnesota top players didn't play friday, Bjugsted did, Rau didn't. The rest for Rau seemed to work though, as he scored 12 seconds into their game today, which I attended with my brother. Wilcox will be a strong tender for years to come.

So Rau went back into the lineup, which enabled your team to down mighty Canisius 1-0. Wow, how impressive.

  5. That's why they play the games. It's one loss, keep it in perspective. I don't think anybody expected them to go undefeated all year long. Even the 1986-87 Sioux team lost 8 games. The Gophers are still the best team in college hockey in spite of what happened last night.

A 2-2 tie against the kids. Really! Whatever you say Skippy.

  6. I like seeing the gophs lose too, but that team is not a paper tiger. They already showed last year how good they were, and this is much the same team. Lucia is healthy, Hill is gone, and they are loaded. This isn't three years ago.

Read my post again. I didn't say they weren't loaded with talent, I merely pointed out an element of the Goofs team that is typically missing from their roster. Tech forced them to play along the boards and their talented roster didn't match up. Most of them are likely afraid that they might break a fingernail or something like that.

  7. Ah yes, another Goofs team that looked unbeatable on paper. All that high end open ice talent; however, it is likely that, in junior and high hockey, none of those prima donnas ever had to earn their roster spot by playing along the boards. Tech owned the Boards which in this league equals a W.

  8. So do you think people on here were melting down after that loss? Seriously?

Try to ignore him as he can't be taken seriously and is one of a couple of reasons I don't post here as often as I used to. He's the kind of guy who used to receive a regular wedgie before we were adults and now thinks it is okay to pretend he knows something about hockey.

  9. NCAA took your name, but they are trying to give you this game.

To all, ignore this troll. He only makes appearances when his Gophers do something which is why a decade later he barely has 100 posts on this site. Haven't seen you around in a very long time Pisstar.
