It was laready at this post and now get ready for every last troll who visits this site to move to this topic. They all showed up on the other one. And yes this could hurt he Sioux as we need UNH to win. http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?sh...pic=5542&st=171

Fair enough, and those of us on this chat who are fans of Sioux hockey shouldn't be subjected to your frequent dribble regarding these irrelevant and meaningless titles from years gone by.

Ah Sagard, those were the days. The city slickers, Golden Minnesota boys all, knocking the wheels off of several upstart schools who were attempting to join their elite status by fielding what should have been house and beer league teams. The John skating past pylon after pylon flashing his pearly whites as he embarassed one poor sieve after another. No Saskatchewan farm boys to knock him on his butt, no wait scratch this last one because then we would be talking about playing real hockey.

Slappy, you just don't get it do you. We don't want to hear about your classless dirty program anymore from Don Lucifer down to the one move wonder. Your team has a total disrespect for rules, regulations and fair play. Its anything goes as long as you don't get caught and sweep it under the carpet if you do. Since you don't believe you are finding fair play here why not do us all a favor and move to another teams site. Try out the UNH site and find out how an honorable coach correctly deals with a player behaviour problem. http://www.uscho.com/news/id,11777/UNHSusp...ameAtMaine.html

Think of the money that would have to be spent afterwards on fumigation and disinfectant.

Is this the long awaited Muppet sequel to Fraggle Rock.
-
You forgot to add whose image can be found on certain Peanut Butter Jars

Zajac from Zajac will keep it nice and simple for Woog.

It really isn't too difficult is it. You keep hooking the lunkers and bringing them up to the side of the boat and I merely give them the bash on the head they both need and deserve. It looks like you hooked the entire school from Gopher Lake in this thread. Well done.
-
Sorry you are confused. Perhaps I should have kept it a little simplier for you UMN types. Simply put, his one move only works against pylons and non contact D-men. I detect the good old anti-Canadian sentiment creeping into some of the Skippy Posts. Did Don Lucifer sell your souls in not keeping Minnesota hockey pure.
-
Ovechkin doesn't get to play against too many blue chip Canadian D-men in the Eastern conference which could help explain his success but I did recently see him leave a certain Devils D-man, Martin I do believe, looking for his equipment.

Hi Bucky sucks, hows it going. Actually your one move wonder was only copying the pathetic display by the Russian players at last years WJC, so cupping your hand to your ear should be called the Ovechkin or Malkin. You are all giving the little fella too much credit regarding creativity and besides Ovechkin has a couple of more moves than he does. Notwithstanding both tried their moves out on Canadian D-men and both wound up on their butts.

Wish I could be there again with you this year old friend, as those were great Sioux efforts despite being losses. I think CC is in even more trouble than the Sioux and they are a team we could finish off if the team turns in the same type of effort we witnessed. The D they fielded last year is no more and they are really down to just one very potent line that they have to depend on for all their scoring. If Sterling's thumb was really broken, a Sioux sweep is not out of the question.

I recall that I got handed some of those Gopher cards at a game in Minny too. I promptly gave them to my son for his bicycle spokes. I also recall him saying that the Hauser only lasted about one block before going to pieces.
-
Why would you want somehting like that back. Besides, don't you guys get to hang the DQ Cup Banner from your rafters this year.
-
Hi Ya Slappy how's it going. You know perhaps the one move wonder was holding his hand to his ear all the way around the rink because it is still sore from the hits the Canadian D-men put on him at the WJC.
-
If you can make it you should try your luck at the card show in Fargo this Saturday. I believe it is still at the mall from 10-6 and I used to pick up Sioux memorabilia there from time to time.

That is the key point. If Blais hadn't had his previous successes some members of this chat would have been ready to crucify him for the two years in question. I still believe the Sioux are very well coached and I was hoping that despite their youth this would be a successful season based on the talent alone. As expected, some freshmen have adjusted better than others but just like last year it is the upperclassmen that have to show up each and every game in order for this team to succeed. I like how the team is playing defensively but the upperclassmen need to find a way to factor in on the scoring each and every game from here on in. Unfortunately, the large freshmen class has limited Hak's motivation options for this season.

I didn't spot this anywhere else but here is more recognition of Oshie's play on this months TSN NHL Fantasy. They highlight three propects from each level of play so just scroll down to the varsity report. http://www.tsn.ca/fantasy_news/news_story/...me=fantasy_news

No goals the entire weekend from either a Sophomore, Junior or Senior is not going to get you very far in Div 1 Hockey.
-
I am afraid that is the season
-
I nearly passed out from holding my breath. Sioux were very lucky.
-
Agreed, just look at the teams record when Stafford scores and when he doesn't.
-
If we only get goals from freshmen this weekend then I would say that would be a cause for concern.
-
Both goals this weekend have been by the fabulous frosh, Oshie and Toews. We need the seasoned players to step forward and do something. What has happened to Sparky lately?
