Easy now I am sure Canseco didn't find the name to be weird. This coming from the fan of a team whose goaltender has the first name Antero

Arghhh! No thanks it looks like it has been used already.

Bochenski is to be back in the lineup tonight. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10460&hubname=

I am not going to jinx him or myself by buying more advance tickets to a Senators game. Shortly after I bought my first set he was demoted and after my second set he got injured. I am waiting until gameday this time for whatever is left and I will have my Sioux Jersey on of course. I might get roughed up in my Habs Jersey

Shouldn't you also get a DQ for losing your jockstrap to a Slovak. I guess Sparky only gets one game for the repeat performance this time.

He was the best player on the ice in the first period and looked quite relieved in his first intermission interview.
-
I am doing my best to avoid threads without the dirty K word in it but it is getting tough. Did I mention how much I loved him getting knocked on his butt when he tried his one move wonder on the Canadian D-men.

Is there more to this article than three paras. If not I don't understand what you are saying about Toews. Actually I think the article shows him for the player he is, mature beyond his years. It shows that he wasn't going to get into an exchange of words with anyone. It was not his role on Team Canada and he followed his coach's game plan to the letter. Also judging Canada based on Vancouver fans is akin to judging Minnesota based on Gopher fans.

Wow, do I feel better this morning. The three things fromt he win I like best: 1. Fabian's contribution to the scoring 2. Playing Oshie and Toews together 3. Lammy's Shutout However, still no answer to the question why Radke sat Friday night. If we needed four pts he should have been in there.

For the benefit of my US friends, Don Cherry did take a shot at Vancouver on tonights Hockey Night in Canada. He told fans in the US not to feel bad about the booing because Vancouver fans are the worst hockey fans on the planet. He reminded all Canadians of the 1972 Summit Series against the Russians and the game that was played in Vancouver. Canada lost that game and the Vancouver fans booed our team. Some of you may have recalled how upset Phil Esposito was in his interview after that game where he questioned "what is it with Vancouver fans booing us after we played our hearts out". Vancouver has no winter to speak of, knows nothing about the game of hockey, and should have stuck to Soccer and Rugby. Unfortunately they have already been awarded the 2010 Winter Games because the rest of us would hope they are never awarded another international hockey tournament.

It may be Hockey Day in Canada but all I want is a Sioux win.

A goalie gets a concussion in practice. Cmon, I don't buy that one for a minute which is even more cause for concern. It likely did happen in one of his many run ins with other teams before Christmas and perhaps he has post-concussion headaches. As for Radke, I suspect he got a reward for some event related to either lack of effort or behavior. I hope he didn't do something foolish that lead to the Parise concussion because we need him in the lineup too.

I knew I shouldn't have got out of bed this morning. It would be nice to wake up and read that a Sioux goaltender was the difference in a game again. As I said against Harvard I am getting sick and tired of reading that the other teams goaltender was unbelievable.

Isn't he simply amazing against the Purple Pylons.
-
Now that is not a good rumour.
-
Sorry about the false assumption. Ah, Ron Hextall nephew of Bryan Hextall, one of the early great Canadians to star for the Sioux
-
You can have Quebec right now.
-
Thanks for the great news.

Second Period is over and Toews missed out on a goal with a quick whistle. Although he hasn't officially been given an assist he has played a role in the last two Canadian goals. What has amazed me even more is how he is schooling the Russians at winning faceoffs.

Kessel really does remind me of Jagirl. He doesn't backcheck and waits outside the blueline for the rest of the team to do the dirty work.
-
This post hits the nail right on the head and a perfect example in the Pros is Jagr. Definitely one of the most talented players in the game and usually leads the NHL in scoring. However, he eventually poisons every locker room he graces and how many Stanley Cups has he won without Super Mario? Zero!
-
Many non-Vancouver fans in Canada do boo him when he touches the puck.
-
Ah Dennis Hextall, one of the early great Canadians to star for the Sioux. On another note, the USA is currently playing Team Quebec in the Under 17 Gold Medal Game on TSN. The game is in Regina, Saskatchewan and I proud to report that I haven't heard a single boo from the Canadian fans towards either team. Slight edge in cheering for the Quebec team that features Esposito. It is 2-1 for Team Quebec late in the second period.

My favorite play of the tournament: Kessel in on Canadian D-Man Parent Tries his one act move Sits on Ice Priceless

USA fans, if you want to get even with the Vancouver fans just stay away from the 2010 Olympics. I also hope that CBC lets Don Cherry give it to them on Saturday night but he has to be more careful about what he says after upsetting the Quebecers two years ago.
