USD finished just one game back of UNI in the standings. And UNI is apparently awesome, of course according to Sagarin and every fan of a Valley school............. And I think those pesky Yotes beat that vaunted UNI team this year too.......and maybe ISUr?

When you look at those early 70's Jerry Olson teams, who they played and how badly they beat their opponents, pretty tough to argue that that era wasn't the high water mark for UND football......... That 2001 team though, was nasty, especially the defense.

Looks like Cal Poly did their part. IMO EWU, UND, CP, and Weber should make the playoffs. EWU should get the #2 seed and UND should get the #7 seed. Selection Show is 10:00 am tomorrow......

Late night football is yet another great aspect of Big Sky Football........

As far as which side of the bracket we end up on, I don't much care. If it is the NDSU side, great, because they like to run it and that plays into our favor. If it is the EWU side, great, because they like to throw it and we lead the nation in interceptions. I'm not trying to say that I think we are the greatest team in the FCS, but there isn't a single team in the division that gives me the shits when I think about playing them.... I think it is more wide open this year more than it has been since NDSU started their impressive run......

Was thinking when the day started that it was possible only two Big Sky teams got into the playoffs. With the results today, it could end up being 4 teams. As it should, it is the best conference in the FCS.

Chattanooga wasn't in the top 10 with 2 losses. They are not getting into the top 8 with 3 losses. I wouldn't be surprised though to see SDSU jump ahead of us based on the love affair that the committee has with the MVFC.....
