  1. I'm often critical of Huff's decision making, but that kid sure does hustle out there on the defensive end and on the boards.............
  2. 36 North Dakota 29 EWU 16:25 2nd Half
  3. Crowd looks weak tonight, compared to last week's games. Especially the student section. Did the Montana's bring out the fans last week, or is everybody packing for the Twin Cities tonight?
  4. That's good. I remember the shot, didn't recall if was before or after he got banged up. This team just doesn't need any more injuries............
  5. Got off to a hot start, and then the shots stopped falling. Turnovers were a problem, but seems like they kind of cleaned that up a bit. The Eagles are blocking alot of shots, and the rim blocked Huff one time too............. I can't believe how inept our big men are at rebounding. Huff and Webb are the best rebounders on this team. Allard left with an injury, don't recall if I saw him return. He at least is a capable rebounder. It would be very unfortunate if misses an extendid amount of time.............
  6. 27 North Dakota 29 EWU Half
  7. Sioux shooting 25%.......... EWU has 6 blocks...............
  8. 23 North Dakota 23 EWU 2:51 1H
  9. Wilmer and Archer have both fumbled passes that would have resulted in lay-ups.......................
  10. 17 North Dakota 19 EWU 7:29 1H
  11. Tied at 12...........
  12. 8 North Dakota 2 EWU 15:54 1H EWU missing 2 starters that were injured in an auto accident, according to Dan Hammer...............
  13. Correct..............
  14. Unless Brekke returns, I foresee a big game for Jois..................
  15. Reported attendance numbers for the NCAA playoffs are commonly underreported by the host school because it affects the amount they pay to the NCAA. Been going on for years.....................
  16. Depends on who Fargo's A.D. is......................................
  17. Seems like Garrison Goodman needs to be the leader of this defense. He missed nearly half of the season, but it seems like he was the only guy with fire, even when he was it street clothes. I was very high on Dominique Bennett and Cordero Finley when they came in, but I feel that (if healthy) Goodman and Andrews are the heart of the defense..................... Agree that the talented and veteran recieving corps should benefit Mollberg.......................... I'm still not sure that I believe that Jake Miller can't be a featured RB in the Big Sky. He has performed well against some good competition over the last few years............. I would like to see more of Sparks though. He's short, but looks like he is built like a brick sh!thouse.......................
  18. Good God, what is the point of all this? My license plate could say "Snatch" if I wanted it to...............................
  19. A few questions/observations............................... Damon Andrews is a guy that I expected to hear alot from this season, but really did not. IIRC he had a real nice year in 2011. Obviously we need better play from all the linebackers. Given all the hoopla surrounding Joe Mollberg, what kind of season can we realistally expect from a freshman QB? The consensus here is that Jake Miller had a sub-par season. In fact he averaged 5.8 yds/carry which was 4th best in the Big Sky. Does Miller need more touches?
  20. I'm not much of hockey guy, but as a North Dakota fan and casual observer of college hockey, my opinion is that 10 years from now, the BTHC will be to the NCHC what the WCHA was to the CCHA.............. By that I mean superior.......................... The B1G will have storied programs like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Michigan St. plus schools with a huge fan base in Ohio St. and Penn St. The NCHC will have storied programs like North Dakota and Denver............................................... and that's about it. I understand the pecking order of college hockey, and I recognize that North Dakota is near the top. But a guy like me would rather head up to GF to take in a game against lowly Ohio St. than I would St. Cloud St...............................
  21. Hanson: No. Very good player, but I'd put him behind at least 3 QB's in just my time following UND, which doesn't even include greats like Colehour and Kovash................... Hardin: He is not done yet, so he's not eligible for my mountain right now. However, I've said before that I think he could be better than Dressler. And Dressler is the best player that I've personally seen play for the Sioux. My following goes back to circa 1992...............
  22. I contemplated Erroll Mann, as well as Steve Myhra, but both of those guys are more known for their contributions in the NFL. I want my mountain to recognize players that left a mark during their time at North Dakota. Not saying those guys did not, but I think there are guys who had better careers while at North Dakota.................
  23. West is basically the father of Fighting Sioux football. But I'm just more impressed with the resume's of Lennon and Olson. I am thinking that my mountain is going to have 2 coaches and 2 players.......................
  24. Lost feeling? That doesn't sound good. What exactly is her injury?
  25. Hey, everyone can play, I'm not only looking for help carving my mountain, but it is appreciated! I've decided that for my mountain, 2 guys that I MUST include are: Dale Lennon: Winningest all time coach, led us to the National Championship, installed the defense that changed the face of DII football, and was a former player as well. Jerry Olson: Presided over what I consider the era to be the high-water mark for North Dakota football. Won bowl games and challenged for the College Division National Championship at a time when we regularly played against current FBS and top FCS schools. I'm still pondering my other two...............
