I hate everything about Sac St. Their announcer referred to us during starting lineups as the Fighting Sioux Flickertails.............. North Dakota didn't get to the arena until about 50 minutes before tipoff because of car wreck on the freeway............

Another game with 20+ turnovers............... Not surprisingly, UND leads the Big Sky in turnovers, averaging 23 per game. They had 22 tonight, so I guess that is an improvement

This would be a very impressive road win tonight for North Dakota. Not that Sac is a world beater, but they are a solid Big Sky team and this is probably the toughest road trip of year. Both Sac and NAU are ahead of UND in the RPI. If the team is going to be a true contender in the Big Sky, these are the type of road games that the Sioux need to win to show that they have turned the corner...............

Our game against Northern Arizona on Saturday will be on Fox Sports Arizona, as will NAU's Thursday game against UNC..................

Obviously, Weber v. Montana will be the marquee match-up of the weekend. But alot of separation could also take place amongst the top 4 teams. Or, North Dakota and Montana St. could both get swept this week and fall back to the muddled mess that is everybody other than the Griz and Wildcats. I'll be particularly interested to see how North Dakota does with this road-trip. They have been a horrible road team under Jones.

The Missouri Valley never invited North Dakota. UND turned down the Summit Leauge, which doesn't sponsor football, in favor of the the Big Sky conference.

Grizzlies beat the Bobcats in OT tonight. It was a heck of a good game. Cats led the entire way until the Griz hit a three with 3.4 seconds left to send it to OT where they took control..............

Women lost again, 73-66.
