It would seem to me that we could make a deal with a school that has a not so great hockey team and a pretty good basketball team. They could get a chance to schedule a "big non-confrence game" against us in hockey and we would get the same in basketball. I don't really know how that stuff works but it seems like a good idea to me.

The pairwise is also done by computer so it really isn't biased. The thing is that you can't just completely ignore the whole rest of the season, we looked like the best team in the nation this series but we still have 11 losses. If you just want to rank teams just on how they did this weekend then put up a list of the teams that sweep and there you go. That being said, as long as we keep on winning we will be more then fine, after being the only team ever to be swept by both aa and mtech in a season and to be 9th in the only poll that matters, i'd say thats pretty good.

no confrence in almost any sport is as dominant as the wcha. as for football, the top 3 teams in the big ten could beat any 3 teams from any confrence, however, it drops off big time, gophers/purdue/iowa, all blow

yes, I did not feel like paying to see a game that was going to be over after the 1st quarter so that is why I did not go. how much of the revenue from the playoff game does the ncaa get? if they get most of it then it is not a bad thing that there was such low attendence

so if they continue to run the table and beat wv, I know thats a big if, do they play in the national championship game? people were saying that the winner of the wv-louisville game would be in the title game so logic would say that if Rutgers beats them both then they would be #2 in the nation, however, (like the ncaa) the system isn't really run by logic.
