For what it's worth. I would like to see the Championship game rotated. Yes here is the plug for the AL and UND. Weather is never a factor.Local fans know D2 football. For the out of town folks schedule a NC/Ex hockey game for the same week.(Not all schools have D1 hockey)Invite the teams to the game. Maybe the sport will rub off on a few folks. Hey if we can host the WORLD Jr's(hockey) We an host a D2 Championship in Grand Forks. UNA, Nothing wrong with the Florence but there isn't any thing wrong with Grand Forks or Fargo either. Oh don't get me started on espn! Grrrrrr!

Tourism dollars/sales tax I think would help. I stay there few times during the summer you should see what they get for rooms! But to be serious I think there is a Mason Dixon line in Minnesota. And those Southern folk just don't like their kin in Northern Minnesota..(see Roseau flood) So I really don't see the state handing out any money.

In the paper today(GFHerald) Duluth has reported that two of our coaches applied for the head coaching job!Don't get me wrong I want to see everyone get ahead in life but come on now! I don't think this was a proper time since the coaches are still at UND and there is a title game today! For crying out loud we give them two coaches for hockey now they want our football coaches too? No class and no talent at UMD?

Ok did I miss anything? They still did not address the D1aa issues did they? Having NDSU in the same state.We would not gain anything by playing them. And having Crookston next door.(D2) maybe we SHOULD keep playing them. To me it seems the NCAA is still bumping around in the dark.It's great we are expanding but who's going to want to go on the road?I would rather bank the SOS pts by playing Crookston,BSU ect .at home.Other than lose the points by going to a place that the team might not be so good but pulls the upset on my Team! Sorry I typed when I was half a sleep. Not with any help from Campion. Zack was held up. The tv replay didn't show it. From where Campion stood on the ice Zack was mauled and he seen everything! Yes they did score on this PP, but there should have been another call made!!! While in the car on the way home I can't remember who Tim was talking to but they agreed that Zack was being clutch and grabbed all night. Granted he has to step up his game but the Ref's are not helping. Sprig, glad I wasn't the only one who saw that. Is that what made the coaches a little surly at the end of the game?

hate to keep on kicking this around but.. the win over a IAA did not help UNA, but they played a prov D2 school which only gave them two points towards their SSI.. the main reason UNA is at UND. TAMUK played two IAA schools and is hosting this week ps I don't care if we play anymore just putting the facts up
