Mattern with 4 mire in their 7-3 win over Sheyenne

Good one in Jamestown tonight. Mandan came out on top 5-4. Jays beat them there 5-4. Jays were down 4-1 going into the third. They scored a quick pp goal then a bit later made it 4-3. Pulled goalie when 5-3 and scored with a minute to go. Had a couple grade A chances the last 45 seconds. They will meet again probably in opening round of West Region

Definitely a first for me. I sent the rule to the ref so he knows if it happens again. Of course the guy who let him out early is a parent of one of my players and he apologized more than once

Now that's funny

This happened to my bantam team Saturday against Fargo. The penalty box worker let one of my players out early so we had too many players on the ice. Ref blew the whistle and called us on it. I vehemently said that is not a penalty as it was the penalty box workers fault. Needless to say I got my first bench in 4 years
