Unfortunately a new rink isn't in any of the plans for the future. Plenty of ice time though to support a college team.

June swoon goes to 10-17 after their 11-7 loss to the Reds. Hard to believe they are still 4 games over .500.

They would use the Wilson. The Eagles Arena holds maybe 200 folks at the most.

Not sure as nothing is written in stone yet. Regardless of what division they are in I'm looking forward to having another reason to go the rink during the hockey season.

95% certain the University of Jamestown will have a hockey team for the 2016-17 season. Won't be a club team as they will be in an ACHA member which is what Minot St. is. I really hope this works out. I think Jamestown would support it well.

Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher is currently meeting with agent Mike Liut to continue negotiations toward potentially a Devan Dubnyk deal. Agent Todd Diamond, Mikael Granlund's agent, is waiting in the lobby to meet with Fletcher next. But in other much-anticipated news, sources tell me agent Pat Brisson is expected to call Fletcher this afternoon with the news that Reilly has chosen the Wild. He can not officially sign until Wednesday. Again, unless something backfires (I keep saying that because Reilly's camp has not informed the Wild yet), Reilly is expected to agree to a two-year, $1.85 million deal (plus bonuses) with the Wild, sources say. The former Gophers defenseman, who became a free agent June 16 when he didn't sign with the Columbus Blue Jackets, was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and a Hobey Baker finalist. The Chicago-born, Minnesota-raised Reilly chose the Wild over the Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings and Pittsburgh Penguins. He met with 10 teams at the recent combine. Reilly’s dad, Mike, is a minority investor with the Wild’s ownership group.
