I do think it should be at the peewee level. What gets me is I currently coach peewees and do in the spring and summer too. The team I coach in the winter obviously can’t check but once we get into spring and summer tourneys they can. Doesn’t make sense. I do teach my team how to hit and take a hit so they are ready for it but shouldn’t it either be able to check or not across the board?

I like it at both venues but the Farmers Union rink is so much better to watch a game compared to the Olympic rink at the Ralph. Plus it’s closer to home.

I have heard the same. Being a former high school hockey coach myself I probably would of done the same thing. Good luck finding a quality coach who wants to be a part of that mess
