I thought Spirit Lake was going to vote on the resolution last week or this week or something sometime. What did the NCAA ask for further clarification on? It would seem like they are waiting for Spirit Lake to decide. Who knows anymore.

The band will at least be partially in the handicapped section in 109, so they won't take up alot of room from what I understand.

He is full of crap. He's started three threads over there tonight. One, that has since been removed, stating that Brian Kelley and another coach were part of a chat on D2football tonight. The other is about the D2 National Championship game being switched to Jan 1st. Everything he posted here was a load of cow turds and it's no different over there.

The d2footbal poll also has East Strousberg ahead of Texas A&M-Kingsville. Then gvfootball.com has a poll and they've got UND as the #1 team in the country, so who knows. All the polls are completely worthless other then the regional rankings though, so who really cares besides toolbags like BCON.

Yep, I agree with you completely. It's not going to help the goal of students getting more seats in the lower bowl because they lower bowl won't be full for all the games. Should have just made the whole student section GA. Oh well though, this just means I'll once again get hosed on lower bowl seats while all the freshman doofi get them.

In others words smoke where ever you want as long as I'm not there. I don't particularily like smoke and would prefer people didn't do it, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be allowed to do it.

Also up until college you are pretty much taught that the teacher is always right on grades you recieve and while you can question them about it, your grade will never change. Maybe you can rewrite your paper, but as it is now, this is the grade you got and it's the grade you'll get. You get a bad grade on a paper and you don't go to the principal and file a complaint about the teacher. Many freshman aren't even going to think of questioning their the teacher or the grade they recieved.

For hockey perhaps, but going to another school's stadium for football is completely different. Most times in hockey you are playing on neutral ice, in football this is never true unless you're in the NC game.

I don't understand that. How can five years ago the Board decide that UND is going to keep the name, but now pretty much say it's none of their business? They decide whether UND should or should not keep the name, but provide no support to enforce their own decision?

I didn't write a paper in my Intro to Philosophy class because of this. I knew I'd get a lower grade on it because of my opinion on the subject. Though I should note that I probably got a lower grade anyways because I used words that had upwards of four syllables in the paper, thus confusing the professor. How this woman became a professor is absolutely beyond me. I've always assumed she stole one of Bill Cosby's honorary doctorates, crossed his name out and somehow convinced UND that the University of Phoenix does indeed use red crayons on Doctoral Degrees.

Yes. The top 6 teams in the regional rankings make the playoffs. However if there is a team that is ranked 7-10, but is the highest ranked team from their conference, they will make the playoffs and the #6 ranked team in the region will not. That will likely be the case for the NSIC champ, unless they go undefeated. They'll make the playoffs as the #6 seed despite not being in the Top 6 of the Northwest Regional Rankings. Mankato lost to NWMSU two weeks ago in OT. UNO is who beat NWMSU last week.

I don't know if WSU will even make the playoffs with them having two loses now. With todays games, it looks like Bemidji State might be the team to beat in the NSIC.

I don't know that Winona was highly overrated, UND played a great game. The offense, the defense, everything. Once UND exploded, Winona seemed to completely fall apart. Western Washington might provide a stiff challenge next week, who knows.
