I think SCSU is the only team so far that could say playing a bad game was part of the reason they lost. Kaczor was terrible. If SCSU had played a better game, it would've been around 20-7 UND I think. Every other team UND has played, the Sioux have just been way better then and even if that team played great, they still would've lost by 15-20.

You seem to be the only one that claims people think going to hockey games educates them on Sioux culture. I myself would go to hockey games to educate myself on hockey not Sioux culture and I would go to class to educate myself on Sioux culture not hockey.

Were those situations caused because of the nickname though? Changing the nickname will not prevent any of those situations from happening. Whether the nickname is Sioux or Spagetti-O's, the teepe will still be set up every year. Every once in a while, some stupid kids are going to do something idiotic. This isn't limited to the teepee though. Any time anything is set up on campus, it stands a chance of being defaced by a couple of drunken bufoons. The nickname isn't what causes these things, ignorance is. This is why instead of bickering, the two sides should work together to find a common ground and to educate people.

Not only will you get 12 players on offense and defense, we'll only play Digger, Kuper, Dressler, Gagner, Grossman, Belmore and Cody Lennon.

How about this: You get to play with two balls and both Kaul and VanWeiren start. That way you'll a fighting chance. Heck the game might not even be decided until the 4th quarter. Nah, Sioux would still win by 20.
