I found out that their "Producer" Tricia in the pressbox resigned, and will be leaving sometime in October. Perhaps there will come out a change in the horrible music played.

Rachel was very good to deal with, however, my experience as a volunteer for World Juniors, Tanya was very unorganized and took all the credit for everyone else's accomplishments. She couldn't manage her way out of a paper bag.

Rumors going around that there are more "structural" changes at REA....anyone heard anything specific?

I heard that they are re-adjusting the speaker system for the sound (again) for the upcoming season. I hope they get it right this time. I couldn't hear anything but squealing and mumbling from my seats. Anyone else have problems with sound?

I would give the Siouxshop a call, someone told me that they are selling both the Sioux/Gopher games, and the World Jr SuperChexx Bubble Hockey games......i also heard the price was around $2,500...which seems good if you live in the Grand Forks area and don't have to pay for any shipping charges.

I don't think that's correct....I think that REA does the Webcasting (Dataflix)..but when you go to: http://www.fightingsioux.com/info/broadcast/ I think the link that is just for "audio" is actually run by UND's Computer Center...they probalby have a FM radio running into a PC and forget to turn on the radio....? Anyone know for sure who's in charge of audio? If so, anyone know what rate they encode it at?

How can "Distance" be an issue when dealing with the internet? It could theoretically be faster connection from Alaska to Dataflix than it is from Grand Forks to Dataflix? Does anyone know what the other things that "they didn't forsee"? Such as adequate planning??

Coming from the Tech in TRF (but using my brothers UND ID)...can't they do something to your ID card where it won't scan at the Student Entrance? Can they contact UND and have you put up on Academic Probation/Suspension...etc since it's a UND event? Anyone know how any of that works?
