The 2001 overtime loss was hard. This year and last year was almost harder to take just because they were the last ones and we knew it at the time. We'll just have to see how the next few years go and if our coach will take us through the transition. I hope he at least takes us through a few years.

That is how I understood it. If/when UND moved to DI there was an option for an additional 2 games. Ultimately a 2 for 1 deal. But as was previously pointed out, how binding was the language in the contract? And will we be expected to travel there again before we get our home game?

And doesn't he already hate UND?

I hate to get into political discussions! But it is hard to disagree that our elected officials have taken their place over the years and finally given NoDak a true voice in the federal government. Whether you are a democrat or republican, these guys have taken their place in the federal government and finally given ND a voice and in the next few years will just have that much more say. Add Schafer and this is one of the first times that Nodak is truely having a TRUE influence on the US federal government.

So has anyone heard any of the names that are floating around for schools that they are possibly trying to set another game up with?

And the Ag College ego shows through once again. FYI, NDAC didn't make the conference. It's comments like this that make me never want to play the bison any time soon.

Where did I say that this was a great schedule? Reading this thread you can obviously see that there are Sioux fans that aren't that impressed. But it could definately be worse. The difference is that bison fans would be on every sports board on the internet trying to convince us it was the toughest schedule in the country.

I heard that the Oct. 18th game against Western Washington will be UND's homecoming. The Alerus Center calendar of events seems to be confiming that. While the schedule doesn't seem to be shaping up too bad, I would have preferred not to see a DIII on there. Hopefully they are able to offset it with another DI home game. So is Idaho State the only home/home we have scheduled for next year besides the Great West games? The one thing I do expect to see out of the transition is an increasingly better schedule each year. The first year or two is the time to start getting some home/home and 2/1s in place. SDSU did a great job of that and with their addition to the Gateway has their schedules pretty much done for quite a few years.

Can somebody tell Mcfeely that Idaho State isn't a rumor. It was one of the first confirmed games.
