The championship game was definately a fun one to watch. It came right down to the last few seconds.

I was flipping back and forth between the DII championship on CBS and the Bemidji-DU game on FSN. I was a little pissed when I flipped back to FSN and they had cut away from the BU-DU game as it was going into overtime to the Minney game. I don't understand how you can show a whole game and then cut away as it is going into overtime! They could handle missing the first few minutes of the Gopher game to show the end of the game I had just sat for hours watching and then not even letting me watch the overtime

Have they release any official numbers on attendance for the first day? I am going to see if I can't find a few friends to go watch the games with tonight since student tickets are pretty dang cheap. I certainly hope that people show up on saturday though, that's when it really matters.

Actually, Dentisty seems like it would be a natural fit into the medical school. Now that it has been brought up, I am kind of supprised that UND doesn't already have some sort of program in Dentistry. I believe that NDSCS has a dentistry program but do any of the other schools in ND have any such program?

If our hockey team can't handle 2 days of practice in a rink that they already spent 2 weeks practicing in, how in the he!! are they going to handle this weekend? This weekend they will not be playing on the ice at REA. And they definately won't be playing in front of more Sioux fans than Boston fans. Maybe this will help prepare them to play on an unfamiliar rink.

And also hopefully Minnesota's.

Thanks! I am staying up on Bell Rd. by the 101 loop, up in the NW corner of the city but we were planning on heading down by ASU and that area so we will be kinda close. We will have to come watch the game on Saturday and then head on over to Mill Ave.

That is who I had in mind when I posted this forum. I actually lived in Phoenix for about a year and just moved back to GF a little over a year ago. If I recall correctly isn't O'Sullivans in downtown Phoenix near BankOne Ballpark? I am pretty sure that I have heard of a place in Tempe near ASU that also carries Sioux games occassionally.

Attendance Just think what might happen when the team becomes much more competative and is competing nationally. I seriously think this team will hold its own sooner than people think, financially and on the ice. Edit: This is my 400th post

Since you brought it up, I'll say it again. If you look at their 4-2 Sunday game loss against Minnesota and then their 3-2 overtime loss to UM-D in the tourney, it shows that they have some great potential. What this team needed most this year was some consistant play. If they team had not been so streaky they would have been must more competative. If you consider that the team is only loosing 2 seniors and has what sounds like a pretty good recruiting class coming in, this next year should be a great one!!!!! I look forward to them competing for the top half of the conference this next season.

P.S. It just dawned on me that we are going through Denver. We might spend Friday night with a friend of ours if we are all sick of driving by that point. We are planning on just alternating drivers the whole way through but we'll see. Anyone know where I might be able to catch the Fri. game in Denver if we happen to be there at that time? Wow, this could be kind of fun. If there is a Sunday game, maybe I should drive to Las Vegas to watch that game!!!

I am taking off on thursday to head to phoenix for spring break. I know there is at least one bar in the phoenix/tempe area that usually plays Sioux games throughout the year. I would love to be able to watch the Sat. game while there(hopefully we win the first two so that there is no need for a sunday game). Anyone know exactly which bars these are and where they are located?

I picked UND in 3. However, I suppose I would take it in two if they really wanted to do it that way.
