Plus knowing how “successful” Rutgers is at football, who’s to say the HC doesn’t get fired in a few years and he steps in that role

2025-26 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

I think the fact he’s even “questionable” is a major win compared to how a lot of us felt his prognosis was going to be. Miami is no joke, so if he can go, have him go. If not have him rest. -

You mean coach saying “now don’t do that okay, okay?”

It’s a big deal for players from New England. To play your biggest rival in the garden and win this trophy for first time in a decade

Hmmmm the last time BC won the Beanpot, it was 2016. Hmmm

They said Sascha was playing injured during the first half of the season. Didn’t realize the fight with the fraternity had a prolonged impact
-
If they win none of the Boston schools may be ranked within the cutoff for the NCAAs

Thought it’s likely to not interfere with the game as PSU likely will be hosting and the trial is in the morning

McKenna’s preliminary trial begins the same day as the Big Ten tournament begins

Beanpot Title Game is on now

Here’s a new thought. What if you play for NDSU and now you won’t be able to compete for a national title or a bowl game as they typically have to wait 4 years or so to be eligible for both. Now I imagine the team will stick together, but what if these things mean a lot to you and you decide to transfer to have a chance at a title? We could maybe get some of their players? I’m not sure if this reopens the transfer portal or not?

Maybe the negative of our coaching hire seemingly being a success is that UMinn follows suit and fires Bob? Bringing up Pat as a new coach would be something likely positive. Haven’t thought about it that way.

Friendly reminder: Beanpot Championship tomorrow. Fringe NCAA tourney team BC vs BU

If anything ther fans will be more obnoxious

Full Disclosure, I used to work at UND (hence my username) and one of my coworkers asked one of the coaches on who they wanted to see win the Natty when it was UMD vs DU in Chicago, and they said they’d rather see UMD win. So I feel like at least back in 2017 that was who the coaches viewed as a higher tier rival.

Imagine a world in which Schloss posts a tweet about something like this. That world does not exist as he is a professional and the darn good one

Here’s my rankings: S Tier 1. Gophers A Tier 2. Pioneers 3. Bulldogs B Tier (IE teams that we are sort of rivals but mainly in the minds of the other team) 4. SCSU C Tier (IE: Rivalry that is only really viewed as a rivalry in the mind of the other team) 5. UNO D Tier (IE: Arizona State) 6. Arizona State I will say that with the rise of WMU, it possible after this year they make nexts years rankings.

Need to get back to sweeping teams next week versus a tough Miami team

Duluth injuring a UND player as often as they do puts them in the top 3 for me
